POINTS TO NOTE 1. Very little to no opportunity is given to us to inspect the vehicles. Vehicles are purchased based on what is declared by the auction company. 2. Choice of vehicle cannot be changed once auction starts 3. You can send us your choice vehicle for us to include in our watchlist. We appreciate all those that have followed us on our main thread - https://www.nairaland.com/5167845/n1200000-less-tokunbo-cars#78079053 We are creating this thread specifically for auction cars, as the process for buying auction cars differs from what we ordinarily do when buying clean title vehicles. The auction vehicles we offer will be classified into the following: 1. Clean Title - this indicates that the car has never been deemed a total loss. While the car may have physical damage, its official record has no report of its classification as a total loss. 2. Salvage Title - this indicates that the car has significant damage (typically from an accident) and has been deemed a total loss by the owner’s insurance company. However, there are instances where a car that has minor damage is classified as salvage title. This usually happens where the insurance company deems it cheaper to pay off the owner rather than repair the vehicle, cases of theft recovery, etc. 3. Rebuilt Title - this is a car that used to have a salvage title but was repaired to a roadworthy condition. This means that the car was previously satisfactorily repaired and re-certified as safe for use. 4. Irreparable - these cars are so classified because they are deemed to have suffered expensive physical, water or other damage. The above classifications may be used in other contexts within the automotive industry. However, when we use them, the above description is what we mean. 5 Likes |

We have been closely monitoring the exchange rate situation as the Naira has progressively worsened against other currencies.
