The World Health Organization has warned the public to cultivate the use of condoms during sex as it’s becoming dangerous for those who take part in MouthAction. It warns that if someone contracts gonorrhea through MouthAction, it’s now much harder to treat, and in some cases impossible. Experts say the situation was “fairly grim” with few new drugs on the horizon as the sexually transmitted infection is rapidly developing resistance to antibiotics. According to WHO, about 78 million people pick up the STI each year risking infertility, while analysed data from 77 countries have shown gonorrhea’s resistance to antibiotics was widespread.
