A 9-year-old Saudi boy has become an internet sensation after a photo of him carrying three bags on his back, went viral on social media.

Mishaal Al Shahrani was seen carrying the bags of his sisters, Sarah and Noura along with his own bag while they were returning home from school. Their father, who was captivated by the scene, snapped a photo and shared it on the family WhatsApp group and then on social media.

Commenting on the photo, the governor, and the director of education of 'Khamis Mushayt'— a state in Saudi Arabia, praised the boy and gave him an award.

Meanwhile, a Saudi football club invited Mishaal Al Shahrani and his two sisters as a Chief Guest.

A video of former governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi explaining how he got the funds used to acquire his home situated in the United Kingdom after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) invited him for an inquiry have caused a stir on social media.

Recall that Peter Obi was once invited by the EFCC after leaked files published by Premium Times, showed that Obi operated a foreign account and did not declare it in his asset declaration form provided by the Code of Conduct Bureau.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s former aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad has taken to social media to express his grievances for losing out in the House of Representatives primary election held for the Gaya/Ajingi/Albasu constituency of Kano state.

Naija News had reported earlier that Ahmad participated in the primary election but was comprehensively defeated at the polls.

The 30-year-old indigene of Kano State contested for the Albasu/Gaya/Ajingi Federal Constituency seat which is currently being occupied by a member of the ruling party, Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya but lost according to the results released on Friday.

Still contesting the election outcome, the former presidential aide on Sunday leaked online a video showing delegates casting votes without due process, in what seems like rigging.
