Xavi hasn't signed the renewal.

He said he'll renew after we win the league.

Let's see.

I won't be surprised if he delays the renewal even more due to the same reasons why Alemany didn't renew. There are enough top teams across Europe who'll be ready to take him.

No serious coach can succeed under such rudderless Laporta management.
They should continue forcing players on him and watch him leave ,coach say e no want neves but una no wan hear

Xavi have rejected this guy more than 5 times ,imagine if this deal goes through and he fails to performs ,some clowns here will immediately blame xavi while turn blind eyes on how laporta and mendes is forcing the player on him

I think Everton are safe. They’ll put in a shift against City and May get a result. Even if they don’t, it’s likely that they’ll stay up.

They’re better placed and have the best form of all the relegation battlers. After then is Forrest. I think they’ll stay up- if the others (Leicester and Leeds) don’t pick up points in their next games.

Soton are out of the EPL already.
I get mix feeling for that relegation battle

KDB plays almost like a second striker or winger most times and though I hail him for his versatility, eye for the final pass and goslscoring. I personally find it hard to rate him above a zidane, xavi or modric that can take a hot game and craft it to their own purpose. KDB also played with the best Belgium golden generation so far but I can't compare it to what a legend like modric did with a smaller croatia.
Croatia is not that small as you think

Without rakitic Perisic mandzukic modric wont play a World Cup final ,someone will think modric did all the job while there was rakitic behind him and mandzukic upfront making things happen

About 8 of the croatia starters at the 2018 World Cup where all starting for a top European team

How many players not named Messi Ronaldo Ronaldinho zidane xavi can influence the success of a team ?

Kdb doesn’t play as a second striker or winger mostly egbon

Whether you agree or not, a lot of factors will be considered before a player can be recognized as one of the greats. National team achievements will always be considered. Mere statpadding against the like of Leeds and Wolves and hiding when it matter most in the national team won't get KDB among the like of Zidane and Iniesta.
You don’t need to be on zidane or iniesta level before you are being considered great

Just take a look at you trying to downplay kdb greatness with the likes of Leeds and wolves ,let’s all pretend that he isn’t performing well against big teams

You need luck with national team

It takes a whole lot to be counted as one of the best. The KDB we're talking about here, what are the personal recognitions he has won in recent times both at club and the national team? What of his performance for his country? These are the criteria IMO.
Scholes and Lampard are his only mates in this list. TBH, I didn't watch much of scholes so I can't really say who is better. As for Lampard, both are on par IMO.
Kdb doesn’t need to win anything with his country before you acknowledge his greatness

National team football needs luck at times

POV: You're asked to compile a list of the top 10 greatest midfielders of the 21st century, regardless of which position or role they played in midfield. Would KDB make your list?

My personal list in no particular order would be:

Zidane
Ronaldinho
Modric
Xavi
Iniesta
Pirlo
Gerrard
Lampard
Scholes
Kaka

Kdb is better than 2 players here in my opinion ,Not xavi not iniesta ,Not zidane not Ronaldinho

I will not mention the 2 players for peace to reign and respect for OG 👌

You don't understand. It's not that they merely came back from 16pts and no it's not that normal

It's that they were down 0-2 in the series losing their first two games at home. So they had to go away to win 2x. Just one loss and it was game over
Okay ,got you

Kill them cut their head and take it away otherwise they will wake up

Even if City goes 2 or 3 goals ahead as long as there is more than 5mins to play anything can still happen

I remember one of our games where we outplayed them, Vidal scored a header, then Vidal missed a penalty and I immediately knew we would lose that game. By the time 2nd half came around they turned the game around and Neuer heroics was why we didn't lose by more than 2-1

you don't know the context of the argument.

Will you be sitting on the bench most of the time to get 3k+ minutes??

Example of being on the bench most times is hazard.

Ancelotti will rather play someone with one leg first before hazard
I won’t classify rudiger as a bench warmer though ,despite him playing because of alaba injury struggles

Really? Alaba is a sure-fire starter for Real. His calmness, composure, experience and organisational skills makes him the leader in that back line. A CB pairing of Militao and Rudiger with their rash defending could have disastrous consequences against a team like City. Alaba's ball-playing is also on another level compared to those two. City's pressing go mad at the Etihad and Real will need him.
Alaba have battled injuries this season ,rudiger is not a starter but with what he played against city ,ancelotti might be forced to drop alaba

Anceotti doesn’t joke with militao so he can Will surely return to the first 11 at the ethiad

Militao and rudiger have commited errors in Laliga ,but they have been playing differently at the ucl

I don't think Rudiger is a starter for Real when everyone is fit and available. Alaba has been injured quite a few times this season and has been filling in at LB at also. Militao has been their best defender this season and is an assured starter. But I'm not sure if Ancelotti will play him against City next week, after seeing how Rudiger dealt with Haaland yesterday.
Militao will enter that team back ,na alaba might make way for rudiger

Watching all these UCL matches like yesterday's, shows me how distant we are to reaching the levels where were once the leading lights.

Now, we not only play catchup, but we are not even bothered with building a squad for the present and the future.

In 2023, we're still talking about how to bring a 36yrs old back to the club. To do what exactly huh huh ?? To help the club earn money and improve revenue ?? What happens if Messi dies tomorrow (not wishing that though), does it mean all the executives at the club has no other idea about possible means through which the club can massively improve their revenue and begin again to sign whoever they wish ?

We have players who are simply not good enough at this level. Players like Eric Garcia, Alonso, Ferran Torres, Sergi Roberto. I am sorry but they're not at the level required to take Barca back to the UCL Semi Finals and Finals.
Why is Barca throwing alba away and keeping alonslow ?

Alba is among the best LB of his generation ,maybe only behind Marcelo on their prime

A finished alba is better than alonslow ,as much as I want alba to leave but I will rather have him as a back up to balde than alonslow

A big no for me. Makes no sporting sense at all.

We are one step away from being a league champion for the first time in 4 yrs. We should be building towards becoming once more a big player in the Champions league. Messi no longer represent a big player in the champions league. His team has struggled also. I don't see how he will improve the squad in any way.

HIs return might be an emotional boost but this is a brutal sport. Any day you waste being emotional, your rivals outsteps you. We can't be playing catch up forever in the UCL. Clubs like City, Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool, even Arsenal are becoming juggernauts while we are looking for emotional reunion.
It seems me and you are on the same path
