We've had this discussion before and combined 11 simply doesn't do any favours when evaluating teams strength. There are so many factors to consider including the ability of the coach. The Chelsea team that defeated Madrid in 2021, aside Kante, Rudiger and James, I don't know how many of them will start for Madrid. Let's not forget that James plays Carvajal's position and I doubt a neutral will consider James better than Carvajal.

For instance, if you want to do a combine 11 between Madrid and Arsenal. For most Arsenal fans, only Mbape, Coutois, Bellingham, vini and Rodri may be included. If you do for Barca, you will find out that only Pedri, Yamal, Dejong and may be Ralph will make it. The whole Arsenal back five including GK looks better than Barca. No Bayern Munich defender will start at Arsenal right now. In the midfield, only Kimimch can have a say.

If Arsenal is playing Barca, Madrid & Bayern today, bookmakers will not have Arsenal as favourites but that doesn't mean they can't defeat the aforementioned teams.

Baba, let's be honest now, look at the players on that list and the players at Barca and Madrid. Most of the player he even gets are cast off from other big clubs or old players past their prime. For the quality of players he gets, he has been pretty consistent, he has only finished below 75 points twice in the last 10 yrs.
If you want to know the true quality of his players, make a combine 11 of his players and either Barca or Madrid and let's see how many of his players will make it into the team.
