I don't expect this from you as a barca fan, Calling Diego Simeone a fraud is not only unfair but shows a complete lack of respect to what he has achieved in that team.
You can't compare the array of players at Barcelona or Real Madrid to what Simeone has had at Atlético Madrid. Man for man, player for player, both clubs have consistently had deeper, more talented squads, with world-class players in almost every position, something Atlético can only dream of.

Even financially, the gap is massive. Madrid and Barca can afford to spend €100–200 million on a single player if they want to, and yes they have done it before, can Atlético try such? Atlético simply can't compete with that. In fact, Real Madrid doesn’t even need to break the bank, star players literally offer themselves to join Madrid, often for cheap fees or even on free transfers. That’s the level of pulling power they have. Is that really the kind of setup you expect any other team in La Liga to compete with on a equal balance?
Everyone knows La Liga is a two GIANTS of two horse race between Barca and Madrid, if one slips, the other takes it. Both rarely drop off at the same time, and that’s the uphill battle the remaining 18 teams,including Atlético have to deal with every season.

Despite this massive disparity, Simeone has still broken the monopoly of La Liga. He has won two La Liga titles in the last decade.

Yes Barca and Madrid are more powerful and better ,but Diego simeone should have won 1 league title in the past 3 seasons where Barca was even on their low ,mind you he has been successful for them on the long run but I think it’s time for them to move on from him .

Same will be for Arteta if he doesn't win the league or UCL soon enough. He'll now become their own Simeone. They both guarantee a great floor which is finishing second or third but a very poor ceiling which is winning the big trophies.
