Politics › Re: South East Won’t Join Protest Against Tinubu Administration - Umahi by andy244: 8:20am On Jul 18, 2024 |
Umahi should shut up and face the worst government ever which he is part of. We already decided not to protest not because we can't but becauae we already protested during election but some tribalists thought we were joking. Now is their turn to protest or we all will continue to enjoy the Balablu. In a sane clime people like Umahi ought to have resigned from this incompetent Bulaba to save his future carrier. |

helinues: Are some of you guys not even interested in questioning your state governors which should be the primary target it is either you are ignorant or you chose to show your stewpidity in public or maybe you are a dullard. people like you do not have businsess commenting in some issues. What has the state governors got to do with the two major economic blunders Tinubu commited that put the country into this mess. Removing fuel subsidy hastily and floating the naira. The senators know where to channel the complain. Tinubu should remove all restrictions on food importation especially rice at least for a period of time until stability is achieved if not... hmmmm |

delpee: What I know is that we have Ugbos (in Ondo state today) who fought the Ifes. Moremi, an Offa princess married to the Ife king saved the Ifes from the Ugbos. That's how Ife became peaceful and they made progress.
The Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom has stated the history from their own perspective. It's not so different except that they claim to be the original settlers in the area.
Ugbos are different from Igbos. Ugbo is bush in some Yoruba dialects. Ugbo is farmland in Igbo language |

Agriculture › Re: How Palm Oil Is Produced In South Eastern Nigeria (video/pictures) by andy244: 12:20pm On Jun 25, 2024 |
santaclaws: Edo state alone produces more palm oil than the entire South East... Y'all need to learn some humility.
AdaPalm is the largest in the south east, with just a palm plantation of 4,310 hectares, Okomu Oil & Presco are both located in Edo state, they're the largest producers so far. Okomu alone has 12,500 hectares of palm plantation... why is if hard f9e some of you to research before open your mouths waaa. Cant you use your google at least. Adapalm Imo state sits on a single plantation of 38000 hecters. The biggest in Africa |

AmiableMosquito: I don't understand what this news article aims to achieve. These are productive revenue generating agencies of government that brings the bulk of the money that the lazy and unproductive state governors come to share in Abuja monthly and which they subsequently loot and plunder to the detriment of the citizens.
If these agencies meet and even sometimes surpass their targets, there is nothing wrong in taking a cost of collection for smooth operations. Afterall, these agencies are self-funded and do not rely on the national treasury to pay their staff. If not for these league of GOEs, a majority of other government agencies are more of liabilities than assets, with many of them not carrying out their core mandate because they are either too clueless or constrained to do so. You see how small your brain is. Beacause they are tax collectors so the nations wealth should be willed to them abi? What oversight functions do these 3 have. Im sure you know they do not even pay their own salaries. So what the hell is the huge budget for? Owo da formations oo |
