I hope this is not a case of setting up a foreigner.

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed is a northern elder and a prominent leader of the opposition party, Labour Party. He is a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and a current member of the Senate.

He has been critical of President Tinubu's decision to allow the US military operations in Nigeria, accusing him of conspiring with the Americans to undermine Nigeria's sovereignty.

He has now been indicted for 40 criminal counts and sentenced for some of them. He has now unleashed his drug lord and pedophile associates on the world while he is in prison and they are now helping him to earn more prison sentences while he is in prison.

Nigerians are not fooled. The US has confirmed that the airstrikes were carried out with Nigeria’s full knowledge and consent.

I don't believe in the premise of the post. The US and Nigeria have a long history of collaboration on security matters.

I believe President Tinubu and the US will eventually disclose the true nature of the collaboration.

Lagos has always been the economic capital of Nigeria. It's absolutely right for the CBN, FAAN, BOI, NPA and others to be in Lagos. This is not even a debate.

This is great news! It's quite reassuring that our security operations will be conducted jointly and not perceived as an assault on any religion.

I respect Sheikh Gumi's views but I disagree with him on this. The US has been a key partner in our military and security operations for years. It's important we continue to work with them and other allies to tackle the security challenges facing us and the subregion.

This is serious. I hope the Federal Government will clarify this soon.
