God1000: How the mighty have fallen, america no longer holds the cards, the country has become a laughingstock and pariah State among nations of the world
Is America a bigger laughing stock and a worse pariah state than Nigeria since 2015 when we allowed APC change chanters scam us into their palliative-sharing, progreThief policies that promote extreme poverty and unemployment for insecurity?
Has America invited a foreign country to invade its territory like Tinubu did on Christmas Day, resulting in the deaths of innocent northerners as collateral damage in their search for Muslim terrorists accused of Christian genocide?
Did we have anything similar to this foreign invasion during PDP's 16 years of widespread prosperity, driven by deregulation and privatisation policies? Did that ever happen from 1999 to 2015
seunmsg: He doesn't pretend like the rest of them. Again, good governance is beyond integrity. While personal integrity is good, it is not enough to deliver good governance and change the economic trajectory of over 230nillion people.
Unlike the rest, Tinubu is very smart in terms policy conception and the political will to implement. Nigeria was almost dead when he took over in 2023. Today, the economy is on the path of recovery. He is the only for among them that could have pulled that economic turn around. Others would have been scared of the political backlash. Can Peter Obi face the North in anything? Can he dare to unify the exchange rate and stop the multiple exchange regime that the North has benefited from for years?
So, the last four years has been for reforms and taking bold corrective decisions that are very painful. The next four years should be for consolidation and ensuring Nigerians feel the gains of the reforms. That is why we must continue with Tinubu. This is not the time to change gear and disrupt the system.
How does he not pretend to have integrity with the fake promises and ofege announcements of achievements he makes? That is in addition to his serial betrayal of Yorubas, southerners and even all Nigerians.
Tinubu and smartness in governance are totally and diametrically opposed.
27 years of his balablu policy conception and political will to implement his master plan in Lagos has yielded nothing but pain, sorrow and tears in higher tax burden without matching improvement in basic government services and utilities like free education for all children and water supply to all houses.
In three years of his turn at continuing APC extreme poverty and insecurity shege at federal level, what economic turnaround has he achieved beyond his empty barrel announcements like the one below? What else?
seunmsg: Malami, Atiku, ElRufai, Aregbesola, Peter Obi, David Mark, Dino Malaye etc are not the ones that will lead with integrity. I will rather stick with Tinubu than voting for any of the names above.
In terms of integrity, how does Tinubu have more of it than the other politicians you listed
seunmsg: There is no defference between them and Peter Obi. Obi swore publicly that bhe will never leave APGA. Today, he's in ADC AFTER JOINING PDP and LP previously.
Around this period just 4 years ago, Peter Obi demonized Atiku, Malami, Amaechi etc and called them structure of criminality. He even fought Dino Melaye openly during a public debate. Today, these same people are his friends and party members. They are no longer demons from the structure of criminality. They are now saints who want to rescue Nigeria from themselves.
What is the difference with Tinubu who called Buhari expired in 2011 and four years later made him APC change messiah
Abeg what have you contributed? We should start from somewhere. He should be encouraged.
No go fire drone for Bandit, mistakenly enter Government House sha because of wrong GPS
What do unserious people deserve as leaders, if not looters who take them for granted and steal their commonwealth that should employ workers to make government services and utilities available for everyone. Basic things like water supply.
500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.
But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”
While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.
He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’
What an unlucky chap....................maybe all is not lost for him since he can return to Oshiomole's Assembly of Past Criminals, APC and be a redeemed saint without blemish or sin.
Racoon: Festus Keyamo Defends Tinubu From Drug Trafficking, Says Tinubu Mistakenly Shared Flats With Drug Lords
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, has distanced the All Progressive Congress presidential candidata, Bola Tinubu, from being a drug baron who was involved in the traffic of narcotics in the United States.
Keyamo, who also doubles as APC Presidential Campaign spokesperson, noted that the former governor of Lagos State only shared a block of flat with drug barons about 30 years ago in the US.
His reaction is coming following documents of a Chicago District Court indicting and convicting Tinubu of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993.
The document which emerged online two days ago, described APC standard-bearer as a drug baron, adding that Tinubu entered a plea bargain, leading to the forfeiture of his assets to US authorities in 1993
It was also pointed out that Tinubu forfeited the sum of $460, 000 dollars in his bank account at First Heritage Bank to the US government.
Speaking on Wednesday on Channels TV, Mr Keyamo dismissed such claims, insisting that Tinubu was linked to drug peddlers who were his neighbours.
He said: “What happened was that Tinubu went to open an account. The address which he used in opening the account was the address used by these people. I think some blocks of flats. Maybe, he was happy to be in that block of flats too.
“So, they now link it that the other people they were investigating for narcotics are in the same address used by Asiwaju to open that account.’’
success1smyn: Do you understand subsidy at all? It was subsidy removal that cause prices to increase so how can subsidy removal be a scam or do you want prices to be cheaper when subsidy is removed?
Yes we want petrol price to be crashed as Tinubu promised in January 2023, even though he announced subsidy removal four months later.
How many months did it take Glo to crash telecom prices after PDP deregulated the sector
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
vecman22: APC has really brought this beautiful country to its knees
All Promises Cancelled, APC is the worst thing to happen to us.
Can you imagine how much subsidy APC is forcing on Nigerians due to the massive corruption in their oil sector since 2015, when petrol should NEVER have gone above N70
anonimi: Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC
January 19, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.
On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.
But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.
It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

OredoPikin2: The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday said President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration lacks the wherewithal to tackle the country’s security challenges.
The former Lagos State governor therefore asked Jonathan to resign as Nigerian president.
The APC chieftain spoke in Ilorin, Kwara State, during the formal declaration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed’s bid for second term in office.
The event was attended by former head of state and APC’s presidential aspirant, Muhammadu Buhari, former vice Abubakar Atiku and governors of Imo, Rivers, Kano, Sokoto and Edo States.
Also in attendance were – the Speaker of House of Representative, Aminu Tambuwal, Senator Bukola Saraki, former governors of Kwara and Ekiti States, Alhaji Shaaba Lafiagi and Dr. Kayode Fayemi, APC’s spokesperson, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, member, Board of Trustees of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje and Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Razak Atunwa.
Tinubu said, “I saw the sea of refuges caused by the Boko Haram insurgents and the lies coming from Jonathan’s administration. They have exhibited failure, lack of capacity, vision and creativity. The lies of yesterday are what they repeat today and are what they will repeat tomorrow. They are lying to you.
"They are lying about the security, toying about the security of this country. I don’t have time to explain the logic of their lies.
But if you control the armed forces and you are the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic, why should any part of this country be under occupation? And you give us excuses every day. In any civilized country Jonathan should have resigned. But if he will not resign, he should wait for our broom, we will sweep him away. I will come back.
“This is just the endorsement of Governor Ahmed, that he will be re-elected by the grace of God with the support of you people here and those outside there. The unemployment situation will be conquered by this administration of APC. We have the vision for the security of the lives of our children.
The thieves that daily steal your money have not given you any job, they cannot create jobs and they are starving states of funds to pay workers salaries. The best thing to do is to sweep them away through broom revolution. APC is a party of the masses.

ogaemma: Is this a damage control for Ribadu or what? Under his very watch, how many General's and senior officers have been killed? Both Ribadu and his Boss Tinubu have failed Nigerians. They should resign.
I wonder how a police officer became the National Security Adviser. Maybe they think National Security is DPO work.
Is it not curious that Tinubu called El Rufai to bail him out of his cluelessness on insecurity questions at Chatham House, even though Ribadu was part of his campaign team, having been ACN's 2011 presidential candidate
LordIsaac: Given the torment bedevilling Nigerians from kidnappers, no amount of image laundering can help him. He should resign.
If Tinubu failed to call for the resignation of Jonathan's NSA, then why should anyone call for the resignation of Tinubu's NSA while his boss remains in office?

AS president in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan did all he could to ensure South West grabbed the country’s number four seat, including lobbying then opposition leaders from the zone, to no avail. The North West eventually grabbed the seat, supported by South West leaders in opposition to then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Former Governor of Osun State and now statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, made this revelation in his autobiography, “My Participations” which is currently dominating political and national dis- course.
Aminu Tambuwal, now Sokoto State governor, won the seat, against the preferred pick of his party, Mrs Mulikat Adeola Akande, from the South-West. Defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, then a fledging opposition, which had Akande and his soulmate, former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, as front- line leaders, openly asked its elected members of the House of Representatives, mostly from the South-West, to work against their region and back Tambuwal from North-West.
The opposition party’s support carried Tambuwal through the contest against Akande, then ruling party’s favourite for the speakership seat.
In his book, Chief Akande revealed that former president then as incumbent, personally reached out to Tinubu, who is now believed to be nursing presidential aspiration in 2023 and himself, but couldn’t convince them.
He wrote, “President Jonathan, immediately after the meeting (with political parties), called Bola Tinubu aside into a lobby to broach the matter of ACN support for a choice of who would become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“That same day, President Jonathan talked to me on phone about the same matter. He disclosed that PDP had zoned the position to the South-West but that only one Muraina and another Mulika won elections on PDP ticket from the zone into the House of Representatives.

Buhari’s administration to generate 20,000mw of electricity in four years – APCPCO
Published on February 2, 2015
The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) on Sunday promised to provide Nigerians with 20,000 megawatts (mw) of electricity within the first four years it takes over governance at the federal level. It maintained that its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) will improve the nation’s power situation significantly, if elected.
The proposed 20,000mw of electricity to be generated by the party in four years time will surpass Nigeria’s present consumption rate of around 15,000mw, the party had said.
Disclosing this in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, APCPCO expressed disappointment that the federal government under *President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration has only succeeded in adding 1.400mw to the national grid in four years.*

It was a meeting of two of Nigeria’s most influential politicians in London – President Muhammadu Buhari was visiting political kingmaker and senior member of his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
In July, the presidency announced that Mr Buhari was heading to London for an education summit. The office also added that the president would also see his doctors for “medical check-up”.
Coincidentally, Mr Tinubu, who had travelled to London earlier, was also receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the British capital. So, a perfect setting for both men to meet was created.
