iamfraud: It seems Malta 🇲🇹 is the next destination after India 🇮🇳
Malta is where All Promises Cancelled, APC has been using scarce dollars to import petrol, for sale at less than N70 since 2015.

anonimi: Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC
January 19, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.
On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.
But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.
It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.
HacheNoire: Another reason for them to blame His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)!
Unorganized and incompetent lots!
They might still end up blaming Bill Clinton for their woes!
Why blame Tinubu when he has ologogoro Wike helping him with judges who have houses while teachers are owed salaries
iwaeda: Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.
In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.
The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.
Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.
“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”
He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.
“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”
500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.
But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”
While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.
He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’
Mindlog: Improvement, as in 24hrs electricity supply in your area?
Though some Nigerians believe they don't deserve 24hrs electricity supply.
APC has been in government for 11 years and still can't get the power sector right!
All Promises Cancelled, APC has failed to deliver on power despite removing subsidy TWICE in 2016 and 2023, to save trillions of Naira and billions of dollars respectively, while ridiculously borrowing more than PDP did, when we had cheaper petrol, better life and less insecurity.
How many billions of dollars do you think A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC’s Tinubu and Buhari have spent to get us darkness in the past 11 years
Lithiumite: There has been some improvement in my area in lagos for over 2 weeks now, there is power as I speak now.....ifako ijaiye, lagos.
Don’t mind the unfortunate Nigerians knocking Adelabu Pẹnkẹlẹmẹs, instead of aligning themselves with the 75% of the population that has adequate electricity, like you have done.
Starhearts: Bitter obi will never smell aso rock gate
Just like every single Nigerian has been smelling APC failure since 2015 when political mercenary Tinubu made his expired Buhari of four years earlier, president.
Abi you know anything that has changed since then for better, with APC progreThief politicians
What is the thing that has changed for better in the last 11 years? Mention it.
Prospect of a possible alliance between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, was dashed yesterday in Kano as the leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu described CPC as parading “expired leadership.”
Tinubu told ACN supporters in Kano during the party’s Presidential rally that: “What Nigerians need now is a transformation in leadership” as obtained in the advanced economy.
The two-term Governor of Lagos State explained that the leadership of ACN was offering Nigeria the brilliance of Nuhu Ribadu who, he said, is in the class of Nicolas Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain, Medvedev of Russia and Barack Obama of the United States of America.
“What has CPC got to offer? We certainly don’t need expired leadership as we are offering the best in terms of brilliance, courage and patriotism in the class of Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain and Barack Obama of the USA.”
Tinubu’s position came on the heels of Ribadu’s declaration penultimate week in Kaduna when he hinted during a political rally of a joint ticket between the two opposition parties to confront the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The national leader of ACN criticised President Goodluck Jonathan for shying away from the national debate held last Friday, stressing that”that singular act exposed Jonathan as a coward who has nothing to offer.”
onatisi: i wont be surprised if the opposition are already mapping out a strategy to leave ADC , but the loud noise they are doing now may actually give the new party they are going the needed publicity . i don't think they will be naive not to think that with the way things are going with adc , the outcome may not favor them
For how long will the opposition continue leaving their party?
Left PDP for Wike and left LP for Lamidi Apapa. What do you expect to happen in another party that they move to?
The FCT minister who builds houses for judges instead of paying teachers salaries has completely destroyed our judiciary. Completely and totally destroyed it.
What can we do as citizens to save our democracy and our country from this corrupt and evil government

Iamolukorede: Kettle calling the pot black - thesame atiku stands till today an embodiment against constant electricity generation, the same man as factory where generators are produced in the abroad - China, UAE, and Brazil turning Nigeria to a Generator Republic.
It is no longer news that these politicians are wolves in sheep clothing, imaging pbat talking nonsense on national t.v and yet some idiots clapped for him. The problem of nija nah the people we get serious peoples problems nah dem create the nigerian foundation and structure. History will ever remain with us till forever no fuss. I prayed When the youth are ready it won't be too late! Those politicians no get repentance in their plans.
What is the name of the generator company that you claim Atiku owns?
If ALL the politicians are wolves in sheep’s clothing then what options do you have to choose people who will run the country?
How are you better than the politicians if you only pray instead of working on correcting the foundational issues that you have identified
In 2004, as a young student at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, I bought a SIM card from a new network that had just arrived in Nigeria. That network was Glo, and little did I know that small chip would stay with me for over two decades.
Through the years, that SIM witnessed everything—late-night calls with friends, business growth, family moments, tough times, and victories. It remained constant while life kept changing.
From the days of recharge cards and “Who go dash me card?” to today’s world of fast internet and social media, my number never changed. It became more than just a line—it became part of my identity.
Today, after 22 years, I finally upgraded my SIM to 4G. Same number, same journey—just a new level.
Not everything old needs to be replaced. Some things just need an upgrade.
Telecom deregulation is one of the biggest things that PDP did 26 years ago to unlock the power of the youth and create widespread prosperity, employment and peace.
Why did we allow Tinubu to destroy this with his expired Buhari in 2015? What has changed for better since then? Any one thing
jmoore: Tinubu gave Lagos state similar poverty level when he was governor.
Tinubu is a creator of poverty.
He has been a terrible person since forever ♾️♾️
anonimi: The eyesore on Bourdillon Road 2nd January 2025
Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.
If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.
That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.
TimeManager: This man jumped out of his bed and reacting to a fake tweet. Then he would later turn around to apologize as he usually does after he goofed. He reacts first before thinking. He can't help to keep his bias in check.
aybabz101: In all sincerity, what have inec done wrong in this issue of ADC?
Amupitan’s INEC is playing judge and working to be worse than Obasanjo’s Iwuruwuru INEC. The one that made YarAdua president in 2007, before the election was annulled by Justice Onnoghen and two other SCON Justices in their minority opinion.
lightwind: This is a pure and complete business being played out here by the northern elites.
Even that woman speaking on their behalf is one of them Boko Haram member.
This is business or strategy to stop Tinubu reelection
Is Jagaban of Borgu a northerner, just like Alhaji Lie Mohammed
EkoIle1: It is now abundantly clear that President Jonathan has finally bared his fangs confirming what was widely speculated. By declaring a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, he has intimidated and emasculated the governors of these States. We are witnessing a dangerous trend in the art of governance and a deliberate ploy to subvert constitutional democracy.
The body language of the Jonathan administration leads any keen watcher of events with unmistakable conclusion of the existence of a surreptitious but barely disguised intention to muzzle the elected governments of these states for what is clearly a display of unpardonable mediocrity and diabolic partisanship geared towards 2015.
Borno and Yobe states have been literally under armies of occupation with the attendant excruciating hardship experienced daily by the indigenes and residents of these areas. This government now wants to use the excuse of the security challenges faced by the Governors to remove them from the states considered hostile to the 2015 PDP/Jonathan project.
Let me be quick to say that this administration will be setting in motion a chain of events the end of which nobody can predict. Experience has shown clearly that actions, such as this one under consideration, often give root to radical ideologies and extremist tendencies, a direct opposite of the intended outcome of unwarranted and unintelligent meddlesomeness. The present scenario playing out in the country reminds one of the classical case of a mediocre craftsman who continually blames the tools of his trade for his serial failure but refuses to look at his pitiable state with a view to adjusting.
It has become crystal clear, even to the most incurable optimist, that the country is adrift. That the ship of the Nigerian state is rudderless is clearly evident in the consistent and continual attacks ferociously executed by elements often referred to as the insurgents in some northern states of the federation, particularly Borno and Yobe states respectively.
Indeed, no part of the country is immune from the virulent but easy attacks, veritable indices of a failing state. Unfortunately, the tenuous and uncoordinated approach adopted by this government betrays a grossly incompetent disposition which stands at variance with current realities in the country, nay the international community where acts of terrorism are engaged and contained. No Governor of a state in Nigeria is the Chief Security Officer. Putting the blame on the Governors, who have been effectively emasculated, for the abysmal performance of the government at the centre which controls all these security agencies, smacks of ignorance and mischief.
richiemcgold: I think she has made herself clear enough.
She specifically said "any man at anytime".
.. any man in this instance does not necessarily have to be a well-to-do man. He may probably be a stupid man, jobless man, a drunk, a druggie, an agbero or a useless man.
An agbero like lawless MC Oluomo who is illegally occupying NURTW as the enforcement officer of Agbero Propaganda Congress, APC
iwaeda: The National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting in Abuja has ordered officials of a faction of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) currently occupying the union’s national secretariat, including the present management team led by Musiliu Akinsanya, to vacate the office in the Federal Capital Territory.
The judgment also directed the claimants led by Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa to take over the affairs of the union forthwith.
Delivering judgment in Suit No. NICN/ABJ/203/2025 on March 6, 2026, Justice E. D. Subilim held that the defendants and anyone occupying the office through them must immediately vacate the premises and hand over possession to the recognised leadership of the union led by Baruwa.
The claimants in the suit include Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, Bello Adamu, Eugene Eze Job, Dajuma Saidu, Prince Isah Dahiru Usman, Suleman Adamu, Odion Olaye (JP), Chief Herbert C. Iwuji, and Muhammed Bello Madu.
Others are; Olajide Abideen Abimbola, Lekan Salami Folorunsho, Monday Eleazar, Comrade Chukwudi Asogwa, as well as the National Union of Road Transport Workers.
In the suit, the claimants had approached the court seeking orders restraining the defendants from occupying or parading themselves as officials operating from the union’s national office in Abuja.
Justice Subilim, after reviewing the arguments and evidence presented by the parties, ruled in favour of the claimants and directed the defendants to vacate the union office and cease further occupation of the premises.
The court also ordered the defendants to hand over all property, documents and facilities belonging to the union within the office to the recognised leadership led by the claimants.
It further restrained the defendants and their agents from collecting tickets or fees from union members across the states of the federation.
The judgment is expected to restore control of the union’s Abuja secretariat to the leadership recognised by the court.
maasoap: How the mighty falling! USA VP travelling to Pakistan so that Pakistan PM could settle the rift between mighty USA and "terrorists regime" of Iran lol. This is the greatest example of being humbled
What would make a Nigerian open his 32 because of this news, when his own president invited Americans to kill innocent northerners under the guise of looking for Muslim terrorists accused of Christian genocide
Did it get this bad before Tinubu made his 2011 expired Buhari president four years after? Did we have insecurity so bad in PDP’s 16 years of prosperity, to the point of asking Americans to recolonise Nigeria?
Borrow2222: Honestly, the direction Nigeria is heading in is very alarming.
The APC has severely damaged this country, possibly beyond repair.
We must unite and vote them out. If they remain in power beyond 2027, Nigeria may be doomed permanently.

Lithiumite: Rather you should thank him for affirming subsidy removal.....imagine we still had subsidy on petrol today, it would have been calamitous, we would have been buying at 3k per liter now and ther would have been scarcity and long queues... removal of subsidy made ot possible for dangote refinery to commence refining and selling to the local market.
What retardant would thank someone who fails to do what he promised
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
