thesicilian: This is just a flimsy excuse. Most of the houses increasing their rent today were built decades ago. How do they justify increasing rent without any single renovation being done?
Are the landlords paying yesterday’s price for their own needs in the market
Switruth: Dangote just dey misbehave. Time will come when he'll realize what he's done to Nigerian people. It's not funny at all.
Mad people everywhere
How is Dangote the same person as the master strategist who promised to crash petrol prices below N185, before he was allowed to grab power from Buhari in 2023?
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
There will be an end when we get back our country from the balablu bulaba incompetent clown who fought and grabbed power, only to run cluelessly with it like a headless pig 🐖, causing stagflation to destroy Nigeria.
How do we work together to stop this disaster in Aso Rock?

Worryingly: Oh my Nigeria. Indeed how the mighty have fallen. Imagine your citizens being slaughtered like Salah ram, left, right and centre and all you do is useless mundane press release. While there are major South African businesses operating in your own country. I'm not even asking for retaliatory killings, but sanctions exist for a reason. Can South Africa allow killing of Egyptians or Moroccans and turn a blind eye? I highly doubt so. I just feel really embarrassed by this. I guess we have become desensitized by the terrorist killings here that we can now casually say 10s of Nigerians are killed and no on raises an eyebrow. The useless government of Nigeria must stand up and be counted.
How can a useful government emerge from among useless people? Even the black pot that yields white pap, is first filled with raw akamu, not so
Are we expecting a miracle or maybe magic to happen here?
Are we no longer using tribalistic zoning and rotation to share the national cake of corruption in local, state and federal governments?
It’s the kind of BS most of us love to hear, because it allows us to continue our tribalistic zoning and rotation in sharing the national cake of corruption, while ironically blaming our oyinbo saviours for our enduring woes, more than six decades after we said that they should leave us alone.
Ironically because we are literally begging for recolonisation, by praying and fasting to japa there since we can’t maintain the level of government services and utilities left to us at independence. Services and utilities provided by well paid professionals in the civil service in local, state and federal governments.
anonimi: Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?
In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;
or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority? @ @ The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.
Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

How many lazy fools do you know who listened to Tinubu when he promised to crash petrol prices below N185?
What do you think of what Obasanjo and Ribadu said about the worst rogue politician below?
5 mind-boggling revelations from Obasanjo’s ‘My Watch’
5. Tinubu was one of the most corrupt, of the 36 governors
Obasanjo never got along too well with former Lagos state governor, Bola Tinubu, and unsurprisingly, Tinubu got a mention in the former’s book.
Obasanjo revealed that then EFCC boss, Nuhu Ribadu tried to investigate almost all the state governors during his tenure but that of the 28 confirmed to be manifestly corrupt or tainted one way or the other, Tinubu’s case was one of the worst.
Lagos — ABIA State governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and his Lagos State counterpart, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would not escape justice but would be made to face the full wrath of the law following their recent indictment for alleged corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Chairman of the commission Mallam Nuhu Ribadu who made the vow yesterday said the duo must account for their stewardship and may be thrown out of office.
Richtaiwo: These are the people making such promises
Can anyone be more mad than that balablu bulaba master strategist of propaganda politics, who announced that subsidy is gone in May 2023 but continued paying it illegally to those importing fuel from his Malta blending plants?
Meanwhile, when and where did Obi say he would restore fuel subsidies
anonimi: NNPCL’s subsidy payment jump by 47.9% to N7.1trn in 2024
November 26, 2025
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) paid a total of N7.1 trillion as subsidy for premium motor spirit (PMS) in 2024, this sum represents a 47.9 percent increase from N4.8 trillion recorded in 2023.
This is despite the government’s announcement of subsidy removal in 2023.
The company explained that the amount, which it termed ‘energy security expense’ arises when there is differential between the exchange rate used to freeze the premium motor spirit ex-coastal price and the prevailing rate at the point of import settlement.
According to the report, government had instructed that NNPC Limited cannot sell its PMS above a certain regulated price. It added that the cost of petrol import is usually much higher that the regulated price.
Lanretoye: say make ogun kii you of thousands of your brothers have not benefited from tinubu's millennium school since year 2003...say make ogun kiii you if lagos has not been more habitable for your people than anambra state since 1999 till date, shay u no wan get sense abi
Before you start asking ogun kii you, how did you know that I am not a Lagosian and Yoruba person, unlike the Guinean who has a name different from his mother’s?
yemre: Oga, subsidy or no subsidy, this is Nigeria! If subsidy reintroduced, all of us will suffer it together. Hardship knows no political fan.
If it's road you want to talk about, I challenge you to bring pdp 16 years score card and let's compare with Tinubu's 3 years, the difference is clear. Tinubu takes roads and other infrastructure like pet project. Have you gone towards Benin - Ore expressway way recently? What about the coastal highway? Go to Ibadan - Ijebu road, go to Abuja, what of Sokoto - Badagry highway?
Oga, if it is infrastructure, don't go there o, Tinubu na baba.
Why are we still suffering expensive petrol prices even though Tinubu is paying subsidy illegally?
Tinubu na baba for stealing. This is his worse score in roads despite more borrowing.

What Tinubu and APC can’t destroy does not exist. 11 years of change and 3 years of reform with subsidy removal TWICE along with huge debt cum tax burden on people, why should we have roads worse than when PDP gave us cheap petrol and cheap dollars without piling up debt?
“This is how the Benin–Asaba Expressway looks yesterday, Thursday, August 20, 2026. Look at how cars and trailers are stuck because of the bad road. yemre: Hmmm, those calling for the reintroduction of subsidies are done enjoying their peace without having to sleep at the filling station. Right now, Dangote can produce, and importers are doing business, calculating costs, and selling at prices that are OK to enable them to make profits. Have you all forgotten that this subsidy money is like promises from the government to their oil dealers? Have you all forgotten how Nigeria ended up consuming 65 million liters of petrol in a day, coming from a country with less than 10 million vehicles? The saboteurs will take the fuel your government has already subsidized to neighbouring countries to sell at prices higher than yours, yet tell you there is no fuel! Well, people are free to demand what they want. I am just a regular man too (not an elite). We are all in it together.
Tinubu is still paying subsidy illegally under a different name to importers from their Malta blending plants.
Otherwise, why are roads worse than when PDP gave us cheap petrol and less debt burden
ArcSEMPECJ: No Nigerian saw Tinibu grow from 2yrs to 28yrs, they only saw him first when he came out for Politics....
Am begining to believe that he is the Oduduwa Yorubas said came from the sky... And the way they worship and glorify him , avoiding any fraud or forgery in his life beckons on me to totally submit to the will of them that he is their Oduduwa...
Someone who lost Lagos and Osun states is loved by Yorubas?
Lanretoye: Our brothers from that side see all the strides of this governor but they still prefer that other one that is paying cintent creators to promote mirage...the ont that built a power plant and gave abia state 24hrs electricity within 2weeks in office and the other one that will never sleep outside nigeria for one night because he wants to fix nigeria in 2years
Where is the stride here?
Has Mbah employed enough teachers and other workers to make education free for all children and water available to all households? Abi the progreThief is like his Lagos contemporaries who have less than 5% schools owned by the government despite 100 times growth in the state budget over the last 27 years?
What has the master plan owner done to Lagos money since 1999? Do you know? Any idea?
The federal government is not responsible for water supply in cities and towns. This is the responsibility of states.
500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.
But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”
While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.
He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’
PulaPower: “He organised for 16 years against all odds, he brought in Buhari from retirement. Buhari is from across the Niger. Dino Melaye once said Tinubu owns NDC but no be only NDC tinubu own. Tinubu has always been powerful even before he became president. He sponsored like 5 African countries presidential candidate and they all won, meanwhile, he did this as a normal civilian. He wasn’t holding any government position.. Jagaban nah Tiger !
Jagaban is truly a tiger of looting, otherwise why would roads be worse than when PDP paid subsidies and didn’t borrow as much as the progreThief is doing

Has Tinubu ever done anything positive for Nigeria apart from destroying our country with his Chicago drug lord record and stealing our money?
atiku4President: As if what he says can swing a single vote. Someone who couldn't win his polling unit as a vice presidential candidate. What an emotionally unstable human being!k
He is definitely more stable than the master strategist of balablu bulaba propaganda politics in Aso Rock.

Peter Obi – This Is How A Nation Rises 🇳🇬 | Presidential Campaign Song 2027
Is this how a nation rises
aduboy: Anambra distributes 177 vehicles to traditional rulers
Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, on Monday in Awka, distributed one SUV each to the traditional rulers of the 177 communities in the state.
Obi handed over one of the vehicles’ key to the state Chairman of the Traditional Rulers’ Council, Igwe Alfred Achebe, Obi of Onitsha.
He said that the gesture was aimed at helping them run and build better communities, adding that the vehicles would also help the traditional rulers to function effectively.
“If you have better communities, you will have a better Anambra, Anambra today is changing for better and I want this sustained,” the governor said.
“In doing that, the state government and the local government will do what it can to support the building of a better Anambra.”
Achebe said that he was overjoyed because the governor cared about the well-being and welfare of the traditional rulers.
“It is completely unprecedented in Anambra and probably elsewhere in Nigeria,” he said.
“It is a mighty gesture from the governor and for the government of the state to make a distinct impact on the well-being of the traditional rulers in the state.”
According to him, it was one of the several measures the present administration in the state had taken to improve the wellbeing of the traditional rulers.
“We pray that God will give us a successor that will continue from where Obi has left and lift Anambra to the next level.”
NLCreator: Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.
There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.
Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.
The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.
While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.
“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.
“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.
“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”
Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.
