Dittodat: I swear some of the dumbest retards have to be from that side. There are many ways by which you can forfiete money in the US without being charged with any criminal offence.
Many people in the US are forced to forfeit money daily without being charged with any crime. If you try to board a flight in the US going out of the country, an officer askss you how much you have on you. If you claim that you are carrying less than 10k but when searched they found more than that, you will forfeit the money right there.
If you have money in your account that you cannot satisfactorily explain how you came about, the govt can move for a forfeiture without charging you with any offense. If a police officer pulls you over and he sees a large sum of money, the county can take you to court for forfeiture if you cannot satisfactorily explain the source of the funds. That does not mean that you will or have been charged with any criminal offense. Tinubu was forced to forfeit money in his account because he could not explain its source to the court's satisfaction. He was never charged with any crime. If Tinubu was ever charged with any crime, it can be easily checked on the DOJ website. I dare you to post any official US govt showing Tinubu was ever charged or arrested for any crime. I DARE YOU. Posting someone's opinion on NL is not prove of anything, any idiot like you can post any rubbish on NL or social media. The level of retardation on your side is pathetic and sad.
You have displayed a very shallow and asinine level of reasoning. Don't post confidently on issues of which you are clueless.
When you find out the meaning of INDICTMENT in a court, feel free to call yourself dumb, dumber and dumbest together.

Orissodiq: Funny enough d south East governors won't have nothing to worry about since they have no progenitors records to target or beat than Monday home holiday
Why should that be of concern to a Yoruba person who is an ọmọlúwàbí rather than an ọmọ ale
Ofemannnu: That is because he had never been a druggie like most Igbos are He will never be free if he was.
He got a good lawyer and paid for his crime, that is why he is free.
His reaction is coming following documents of a Chicago District Court indicting and convicting Tinubu of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993.
The document which emerged online two days ago, described APC standard-bearer as a drug baron, adding that Tinubu entered a plea bargain, leading to the forfeiture of his assets to US authorities in 1993
It was also pointed out that Tinubu forfeited the sum of $460, 000 dollars in his bank account at First Heritage Bank to the US government.
Dittodat: Mumu, pls show us where Tinubu was ever charged or arrested for any drug crime.
For example, I actually know this guy that was just sentenced. Does that mean that I'm into what he's into? I know at least 3 guys selling drugs back in the 80s while in the university in the US. One was a igbo guy who notorious drug dealer but very nice guy. This guy will always dash me 100 box like it's nothing back then. The guy had a night club in Detroit back then. He eventually got busted and was sentenced to a long prison time.
If Tinubu had anything to do with drug, the least that would have happened to him , would have been arrest and charges. Tinubu has never been charged
If you are not the certified mumu, please explain how a person will forfeit money without being charged for an offence.

BuyMeBanger: Damn if it's doing so well then expand the thing already to Badagry as initially announced. Plus is it too late to do a complete overhaul on the Red Line, honest .
The Red Line is suspended indefinitely.
RRsport2: Lagos State Government may have suspended operations on its Red Line Mass Transit Train Service (LRMT) until further notice.
Checks by our correspondent indicated that the operations of the train service ran into troubled waters last week. Many passengers observed mechanical failure on the morning belt of the train service last Monday.
A passenger, who preferred anonymity that boarded the train from Iju, said they had been told the train had developed a mechanical fault and when they got to Mushin, all passengers were instructed to disembark, as the train could no longer move.
Emekaonline: Obviously the guy's statement hit you hard. You dont even know the meaning of prodigal son. If bragging defines a man or woman as being prodigal, then there would be many in your land as I know how bragging many of them are. The truth is that Sanwo-Olu is performing in Lagos but hatred from you people will not let you see it. If it is about Governor Otti who is still struggling to pay pension, you guys will be everywhere praising him as the best. Are you not ashamed?
My land is Lagos but I am not a prodigal son who is lost in the moment with no clue about his glorious heritage.
Emekaonline: Despite being a glorified ghetto, many fools and imbeciles could not live and stay in their erosion-ravaged land but rushing to Lagos with their family en-mass. Is that not stupidity?

Racoon: Festus Keyamo Defends Tinubu From Drug Trafficking, Says Tinubu Mistakenly Shared Flats With Drug Lords
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, has distanced the All Progressive Congress presidential candidata, Bola Tinubu, from being a drug baron who was involved in the traffic of narcotics in the United States.
Keyamo, who also doubles as APC Presidential Campaign spokesperson, noted that the former governor of Lagos State only shared a block of flat with drug barons about 30 years ago in the US.
Speaking on Wednesday on Channels TV, Mr Keyamo dismissed such claims, insisting that Tinubu was linked to drug peddlers who were his neighbours.
He said: “What happened was that Tinubu went to open an account. The address which he used in opening the account was the address used by these people. I think some blocks of flats. Maybe, he was happy to be in that block of flats too.
“So, they now link it that the other people they were investigating for narcotics are in the same address used by Asiwaju to open that account.’’
Tobokongs: The enemies of Lagos won’t like this news.
Sanwo-olu has outperformed the the entire governors (dead or alive) of their region.
Has he also outperformed Awolowo and Jakande? What prodigal son brags about being better than others instead of being better than his progenitors

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one. The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & hapless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.
Joseph stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you". "They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?
Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? Very confused old man. A crude corrupt and wicked individual stealing from Nigeria to flex in Dubai.
I have stopped listening to his gibberish long time.
How is a man who has NEVER held executive position since 1999 a crude corrupt and weicked individual? Can he be a more crude, corrupt and wicked individual than the bolekaja bookkeeper whose master plan has raised Lagos budget almost 60 times in the past quarter century but he and his crony successors have failed to do anything close to what Jakande did in just four years with comparative chicken change?
Is it not confusion that makes someone utter your type of gibberish against Atiku

WHO SAYS 4 YEARS IN OFFICE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MEANINGFUL ACHIEVEMENTS?
IT'S A FACT THAT 90% OF GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA SINCE 1999 WITH REVENUES AT THEIR DISPOSAL CANNOT BOAST OF A QUARTER OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS EVEN WITHIN THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.
A 45-year-old resident and father of three, Mr.Fatai Lamide told PUNCH HealthWise that no building in the community has toilet facilities.
The Oyo State-born mechanic said, “We don’t have toilet in this area, including our compound. This canal that you see serves as toilet to all of us living in this area. We defecate inside nylon and throw it inside the canal.
“For people that don’t want to use nylon, they have a special bucket that they use after which they pour it inside the canal too.
A Lagos State lawmaker, Mr Saka Fafunmi, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the state Water Corporation.
Fafunmi, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), said in Ikeja that the corporation had not been able to justify statutory allocations to it.
The lawmaker, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 at the assembly, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He said that the corporation had the capacity to generate much fund internally through water rates but had relied solely on government funding because of poor performance.
'' Anyone that is using water will be willing to pay for it; the corporation has not been giving us water.
"Is there any new community that Water Corporation has given water? People depend on boreholes; even government estates have industrial boreholes.
"Why do we keep pumping money into an agency that does not give us the desired results?'' he asked.
He noted that the Adiyan Waterworks was located at Ifako-Ijaiye, where many of the residents had resorted to digging boreholes as a means of getting water.
''A lot of people are falling sick because they don't drink clean water.
''In the same compound, where you have sewage, is where you have a borehole.
''There is no way you can manage the sewage that it will not leak and pollute the water; everyone drinking such is drinking contaminated water,'' he said.
The lawmaker urged the corporation to increase water reticulation and supply to residents.
Stockholm syndrome affliction is real for anyone to celebrate revenue increase without matching increase in civil servants for improved government services, utilities and facilities.
How will you get delivered of your affliction

Titogbanski: Any progress that does not better the Jonathan era is not progress. This was a regime we vilified daily with a tirade of the worst insult...and now we are packaging N899 fuel as progress ...ona no serious.
True talk, Oga boss.
anthonykezy: Oil slump: Bring down fuel price immediately, Fashola tells FG ON DECEMBER 7, 2014
Lagos—As the global oil prices slid further downward, Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, asked the Federal Government to review downward the pump prices of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, from N97 per litre in the country in tandem with the slump in world oil price. President Jonathan and Gov Babatubde Fashola of Lagos The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, had last Friday, on its website pegged the oil price at $66.27 per barrel.
Fashola who blasted FG for its reluctance to adjust the pump price of PMS, made the remarks while addressing hundreds of youths at the Lagos State and After School Graduation Development Centre, AGDC, IGNITE Employability Project 5, Ikeja. He lamented that Nigerians were not receiving fair treatment from the central government like others in oil producing nation. Fashola said, “Now we should be enjoying cheap fuel if the price of oil has dropped globally. Even as we import the product, a major component has reduced in price and while this has reduced, the pump price of fuel in the country still remains the same. “Then something is wrong. If the price increases in the country when the price of oil goes up globally, then it should also reduce when the price of oil drops.
“I understand that I am not an economist; they (Federal Government) are the economists. But I have some logic and common sense to ask critical questions. For instance, if one buy flour at N10 per kilogram, and the bread was sold at N1 per loaf. If the price of flour drops, the price of the bread should also change,” Fashola added.
The governor, therefore, urged President Goodluck Jonathan led administration to follow the footstep of other countries that have reduced the pump price of oil products for their citizens. Fashola noted that the oil sector of the country had not been improved to address challenges confronting the nation especially unemployment, saying “The economy is not doing well. Some of you (audience) are compelled to try to survive through whatever means.”
If only Fayemi did not use Pastor Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana, SAN, Femi Kuti, Wole Soyinka and other credible Nigerians to play politics with our wellbeing in the 2012 fuel deregulation protests. Would we not be enjoying the N40 petrol promised by APC when they told us PDP and Jonathan were clueless buffoons in 2015? Then petrol was N87 and minimum wage was N18,000.
How many years did it take Glo to crash telecom prices after free market capitalist PDP deregulated the sector? More than 12 years? Or less than 12 years?
Looks like we bought shege thinking we were buying change.
AKPOSbaba: FORMER Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof. Tamunoemi David-West, said that Nigerians should expect sharp drop in petrol price from the current N87 to about N40 per litre, saying, “the president-elect, Gen. Mohammed Buhari, will reduce the fuel pump price to N40 per litre.”
In a telephone interview with Vanguard, the former minister argued that Nigeria produces millions of barrels of crude oil daily, and if properly harnessed will boost the performance of the industry.
His words: “I want to assure you that by the time he takes over, petrol will be dispensed at N40 per litre. This is possible and he has the credibility to make it work.
The major assignment of the president-elect when he is eventually inaugurated is to restore confidence to the industry.
He noted that the president-elect is familiar with the petroleum industry, adding that he is a straight forward person that has respect for democratic principles.
“As military head of state, he dealt with the Federal Executive Council with the tenets of democracy. Buhari will build new refineries to make petroleum products available for the masses. No responsible government will allow the masses to suffer.

[quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.
There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.
Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.
The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.
While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.
“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.
“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.
“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”
Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.

cjudy: Their supporters don’t care ooo, as long as it’s their tribe person and their religion, if they like make them die of hunger, they don’t care. That’s the reality of Nigeria. Once you criticize him now, they will tag you IPOB or Igbo
That is how we roll, innit?
edet19892015: Unless you understand your role in society, you can never make any meaningful contribution.
According to the Greeks, they are three types of people on Earth, 1. The idiots, 2. The tribesmen, and 3. The citizens.
Studies show only 10% of Africans are citizens. The remaining 90% are either tribesmen or idiots.
1. When the Greeks used the word "Idiot", they did not use it as a curse word. Idiots are people who just don’t care. If they sit for exams, they will cheat. If they are in government they will steal.
An idiot does not care at all, if he eats bananas he throws the peels anywhere instead of putting them in a trash bin.
IDIOTS won't attend monthly neighborhood meetings. They won't pay security dues. They won't contribute to community development. Even when they see or know about something that will harm others in the community they won't report it. When they see/know/have something that will benefit their community they won't share.
In fact, Idiots don't care to register for or vote in an election, yet they complain the most. If they register to vote, IDIOTS will sell their votes for peanuts.
According to the Greeks, some societies have more idiots than tribesmen and citizens.
2. The next set of people are "Tribesmen", these are people that look at everything from the point of view of their tribe.
These are people that believe in you only if you are part of their tribe. It can be terrible to have a tribesman as a leader, he will alienate the rest.
When the Greeks talk about tribes, it’s not just about ethnicity, they also consider religion, gang membership, group membership, party membership and even cult membership as a tribe.
A great percentage of Africans are tribesmen, because they view everything from the point of view of their tribes. They trust only their tribesmen
3. The last group are "Citizens". These are people who like to do things the right way. They will respect traffic light rules even if no one is watching them.
They drive within speed limits. They respect the laws, and won’t cheat in exams. In government, they won’t steal. They are compassionate and give to others to promote their well-being.
Citizens often promote projects that benefit everyone. The Greeks called this group "The Citizens".
Some countries have more citizens than tribesmen and idiots, others have so many idiots.
A tribesman can become a citizen through orientation. And an idiot can become a citizen by training and constant enforcement of the law.
But things fall apart if you elect an idiot or tribesman to lead you if he has not been reformed.
Where do you belong? Are you an idiot, a tribesman or a citizen? Reflect on your life. Reflect about your immediate community, city, state and nation.

Is it not DEMONIC for T-Pain and APC to raise taxes from us only for their own enjoyment? Do they deserve blessings or curses for increasing our tax burden for their own enjoyment
TimeManager: he Chairman, Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, has stated that some Nigerians rain curses on him and his family over the tax reform bills.

anonimi: 2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury
Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.
One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.
Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.
