Any country's currency that's dominant in the world tends to serve as reserve currency.

The USD isn't even the longest serving world currency, yet it's about to be dethroned because the US made the mistake of weaponising it.

From the 16th to the 18th century, the Spanish silver dollar was the world reserve because they were the world power then, after their decline, the British pound came on board that reigned till the middle of the 20th century before the USD took over after the 2nd WW.

The USD hasn't even completed one century in the helms of power, they're already being threatened by heavyweight countries Coming together with a single currency.

Acceptance of a currency is by countries and not by might, once the majority start boycotting it, it'll decline and lose it's position, some serious countries have started bycotting it not by choice but by necessity.

The takeover won't happen in 1-10 years though but before the end of 20yrs (2044), the USD would no longer be the reserve currency.

Just sit back and read/learn from other students of history.

Israel's patience wore thin after/close to a year of rocket attacks(now). The limited ground invasion was a last resort. And what's the UN's response? Crocodile tears! Israel warned UNIFIL to vacate the area since they are clueless, so the IDF could finish the job. What exactly is their job there if they can't disarm hezbollah or prevent them from launching attacks against Israel?🤷‍♂️
