Obviously God acknowledges hardwork..and He definitely helps those who work hard...my point..is for people who sweated in preparation for this exam and ended up with something far from their expectations
babablogger:
lol if anyone wants God to work they should give God something to work with

Prepare hard for you exams then pray but believe me it's hard to get reversal after you reap what you sowed

You are bad at mathematics but you chose mathematics/engineering/statistics/physics and you expect God to work?

For God to work you have to take him out of the box.

The eve of my exam I was downing a cold bottle of Guinness, I wasn't expecting anyone to write my exam for me, I knew I was prepared and I was 70 percent sure of myself if I had failed then I know the 30 percent got the better part

Immediately after my exam I knew my score cause I knew exactly what I had done.

Then when people expect God to give them admission and he doesn't they blame him for not getting admission

I've been down that part before so I'm talking from experience

God can work in any way. ..it has nothing to do with corruption...
babablogger:
lol I can see you are not realistic, you mean connections right? That's nepotism which is a for of corruption. So you want go to be corrupt cause one failed bah

I have seen life from almost all angles and believe me God doesn't work like that.

And I'm not getting into any argument with you hun I'm only telling you to be realistic, God doesn't work like that

God doesnt need to change scores to help..
babablogger:
we are Nigerians na, we ain't realistic

And if you're a realist people go still hate you.

My advice for all those that scored below 50, just go collect another school form. No matter how you whine God can't change your score

Most aspirant who excelled in the P.utme here are not first timers.

So if you really love UI just go get your books and begin preparation for next year Exam

no one is asking you to give false hope sha...but dont put them down like that...and besides all things are possible with God almighty smiley
Nltaliban:

Even me don't understand them. All I know is I don't join people in giving false hope or asking God to do what is obviously impossible.

In about two months time, they will understand what we are saying

I thought all hope was lost gaining admission into MBBS when I scored 262 and couple with the fact that I had two of my school cert result not released by waec. Ok this is what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna categorize all thr soft copy links from preclinical to final year
All the books you're gonna need
Both Indian and others. You heard me right- Indian books.
-You can have Vasudevan, Charteajea , Sembulimgam , Harsh Mogan all in clean soft copy.
So drop your mails while I find start work.

May I use this time to say that as a medical student, a tablet is a must-have. You need it. If you have money, buy an iPad, bcause the battery life is flawless. The iPad 4 has a battery capacity of over 11,000 mah. If you're just using it to read without browsing, you could go for 4days without charge.

If you don't have money so much, buy a good tablet with a decent battery life. Tecno pads have decent battery life. Samsung too.

With a tablet you can have so many books at your disposal. Instead of buying one book and being limited, you can have as many as 4. It gives you an advantage over ur peers. And best if all, you can read anywhere.

Good luck guys. I'll get back to y'all.

As regards recommended textbooks, here are my suggestions. But before I reel them out, know and understand VERY WELL that attending classes, your notes and available slides are the best tools you need mostly. Please note that very well.

CHE156
- Fundamental Physical Chemistry (Edited by Iweibo I., Okonjo K. & Obi-Egbedi N.)

PHY102 & PHY103
- Mechanics and Properties of Matter (by Idowu Farai)
- College Physics
- First Year University Physics, Volume 1 & 2 (both written by O. Ajaja & H. B. Olaniyi)

ZOO116
- Strictly your note

ZOO114
- I don't really have any textbook to recommend here because your note, slides and materials you can get online should be okay but some people use Campbell and Reece Biology textbook

GES107
- You will buy a textbook while doing your registration for this course. Trust me, that textbook is ALL you need, saving attending classes.

PS: All what I have written here are based on what is obtainable as at the 2016/2017 academic session.

For many of these courses, I have some slides and materials I can give that would definitely be of help. But that will surely be upon resumption.

I hope all these help. I can't wait to see you guys in UI!

Please could you add me to the whatsapp group..here's my number: 08099187452
TheHistorian:

Actually, there is a whatsapp group but it wasnt created to forestall any "Secretive Admission dealings" by UI neither was it created to preempt the "Elimination strategies" by UI in its admission. grin grin grin

It's just basically to share and receive noteworthy information as regards UI 2017 admission exercise and create a social bond between applicants.

Post your number and I'd forward it to Host(the admin).I'd notify you as soon as I get the number so you can strike it out.
