Education / Re: Do You have any Regrets Studying Engineering? by AntiRiot: 7:32am On Nov 08, 2019

So,i recently gained admission to study engineering, chemical engineering precisely.

So my question goes those who studied engineering and those still studying,

Do you have any regrets studying engineering?

You can never regret studying engineering, especially if you are smart and study a good course like electrical, mechanical, chemical and even materials. It is a lot of rigour doing well thus it requires a combination of discipline and intelligence A lot of opportunities abound globally if you finish strong with a good CGPA. If you don't get a good job in Nigeria, you can decide to explore opportunities abroad. You can never really lack a good job in the long term if you study engineering and finish well with a solid CGPA and age on your side.

The problem comes if you end up with a 2.2 and keep struggling from one low earning job to another.

Thanks

Thanks bro for sharing... Very useful tips.

I can kinda guilty of number (1), particularly with my older car. I get careless and ram into potholes atimes. I'm a bit careful with my newer car as it is my baby.

Who will save me from driving on low fuel? I used to do that a lot cos I'm sometimes too much in a hurry and too lazy to branch the filling station while driving. But I'm improving.

Good enough, I sustain regular inspection and maintenance on my cars. And I don't waste time to fix issues when they arise.

My older car which I have been driving for almost 4 years still looks and drives like a pretty new car. Well maintained.

Thanks
