6) Sky Dragon Air Defence System:

The Nigerian Government is looking to modernise its air defence system. The minister of state for defence, Bello Matawale visited China where he was shown the Sky Dragon Air Defence System that Nigeria has expressed an interest in.

The former chief of the air staff, Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar also visited China and he was also shown the systems as you can see in the photo below.

These are medium and long range air defence systems.
