Yusuf knows what he's doing. He knows that voters will reelect him as Governor and still stay with Kwankwaso at the Presidential level.

A lot of money will be splashed on Kano state by Tilumbu and he wants to secure it (free campaign money) so he doesn't have to "steal it" from the state to compete with opposition.

Tinubu doesn't want to win the big states. Check last election results, he lost all the big states. He knows that there will be so much focus on the big states.
