zuchyblink:Buhari can not send troops but he can send the legions of disposable almajiris |
evy1:It's a slave master thing |
UAE just announced it is severing diplomatic relations with Iran. Anytime now, Buhari will do the same and drag Nigeria into a sectarian Muslim war. This is why you should never have voted a fanatic muslim |
Bahrain has just announced it is cutting diplomatic ties with Iran |
hmohammed:When he cuts ties with Iran just as the Sudanese have done then you will know. |
Breaking: Sudan cuts ties with Iran Now I know the dullard will do same and drag Nigeria into a senseless sectarian conflict. Well, what I know is that it will only spell doom for the north and hasten Nigeria's breakup. This man is unbelievably daft to say the least. |
jstbeinhonest:So he is ruining this country with his blind religious beliefs? Daft |
Kenzico:The Hausa north have a long history of subservience to the Saudis. Up till this day, the Saudi Princess have Nigerian bodyguards who they grew up with from childhood. This goes back to the old trans Saharan slave trade where Kano supplied Saudi Arabia with circumsiced slave boys. I can tell you with full confidence that in the coming moths you should expect to see an army of almajiri recruits heading to Saudi Arabia via Sudan and the Red Sea to fight alongside the Saudis against the impending Iranian invaders. |
These northerners are digging their graves by blindly aligning to Saudi |
jstbeinhonest:How is my time of registering any concern to the topic at hand? |
agitator:The US announces it's lifting on the ban of crude exports and now we can see that they have finally disengaged from the middle east as a strategic energy source. The US explored the possibility of building a trans continental gas pipeline from Saudi Arabia through Syria via Turkey and onwards to Europe to check Russia's monopoly on the European market. This is why they wanted Assad out as they knew that the only ally to Russia in the region will not faccilitate a project that will hurt their main ally. This is what ISIS and all that Arab spring in Syria was all about and why the Saudis were pumping money to rebel jihadist groups. Now that Russia and China are solidly behind Assad, the US has closed down their operations in the middle east and have left the Saudis to their own fate. And things aren't looking good for the Saudis. They are facing a major insurgency threat at home with their 20% Shiite population to the east which is home to most of their gas reserves and also the threat from the Houthi Shiites to the southwest border with Yemen. They also know the US wants to see them ousted and anarchy to reign so that crude prices will soar in order for shale to compete internationally as the US hopes to be a major supplier of crude to Europe, Japan and China. As things stand it makes all sense for the US and everybody including the Iranians ( who will soon resume exports this year) to oust the Saudi royal family in order to cut the massive 10 million bpd output from Saudi Arabia. The US will also be very glad to recoup all their monies spent on buying crude from the Saudis in exchange for weapons. This is a perfect storm in the making and we should not in anyway be involved with this regional struggle. |
Preamble Just yesterday , we heard of the Saudis demanding that the Iranians vacate their embassy in Riyadh and there are strong indications of a military buildup by the Saudis along the Iraqi border in preparation to engage the Iranians through Kuwait. To the average CNN addict this may seem merely in response to the Iranian seige of the Saudi Embassy in Tehran which was touched by Iranian protesters protesting the execution of a prominent and leading Saudi Shi'ite cleric by the Saudi govt. Actually there is more to this. Prior to the execution of the Shiite Cleric by the Saudis an obscure Iraqi based Shiite militia backed by Iran captured over 2 dozen Quatari citizens which included several royals linked by blood and marriage to the Saudi royal family. The obscure militia had demanded for the unconditional release of the Shiite cleric in Saudi custody before they release their prisoners. The Iraqi Shiite militia had captured the Quataris in Iraq where they had gone on a hunting expedition from across Bahrain. The Gulf states were negotiating for their release before the Saudi govt went ahead to execute the Shiite Cleric. The state orchestrated siege and burning of the Saudi embassy in Tehran was just another trolling by the Iranians on the Saudi Kingdom. You will also want to recall that the Iranians have been backing and equipping Houthi Shiite separists in Yemen which at one time overran the capital Aden mid last year. This triggered the Saudis to launch an offensive to take back Yemen from the Houthis. So far that war has been a disaster for the Saudis as the Houthi Shiites were able to ground Saudi air superiority by taken down at least one Saudi jet per day and even gaining territory in Saudi soil. This is what forced Saudi Arabia to call for a ceasefire and peace talk with the Houthi Shiite. As things stand now, the Saudis are blowing hot air and threatening to go to war with Iran. Nobody in their right mind should take the Saudis serious over any threat with the Iranian military as they don't in any way stand one single chance against the Persian giant. On paper, the Saudis have all the money and tools at their disposal to wage a war with mouth with the Iranians but given that the Saudis are good at nothing and terrible at warfare, anybody with knowledge of the middle east power game knows the Saudis pose no significant threat to the region apart from throwing their money on every lunatic Sunni group. This is where we get to Nigeria... The Saudi govt recently listed out a coalition of "Muslim" countries they want to lead in fighting their proxy ISIS. This is all rubbish as ISIS poses no significant threat to anybody but the weakened Assad regime which the Saudis hate with passion. The real motive for this Saudi led coalition is to form a Sunni army against the Iranians. The viscous clampdown on the El Zackzacky Shiite group in Zaria by the Nigerian military was ordered from Saudi Arabia. The illiterate APC led Nigerian govt was presented with fake evidence of arms stockpiling by both the Saudi govt and Israelis in order to have the Nigerian authorities clampdown on the Shiites and in so doing pitch Nigeria against Iran. Now why will the Saudis in conjunction with the Israeli govt do this? Simply because, the Saudis need the manpower to fight Iran. The geopolitics has changed since Sadaam was ousted in Iraq. Today Iraq is being led by a Shiite govt which automatically makes Iraq an ally to Iran. The US has also began slowly disengaging from the middle east and are priotizing the Asian pacific realm ( to check China) and north Atlantic corridor (to check Russia). The advent of Shale oil is also not helping the Saudis as the US does not see them anymore as a strategic energy source. If anything the US Fracking industry wants war in Saudi Arabia as this will shoot up crude prices making Shale production profitable. The estimated cost for conventional crude must be relatively high to make shale oil production viable. So this is why you won't be seeing any US boots fighting to protect Saudi Arabia. If anything the US will be promoting and sustaining both sides in order to sell weapons to both. The Saudis have seen the handwriting on the wall and know very well never to expect US military intervention on their behalf and so that is why they are calling for a coalition. The Israelis on the other hand have a very healthy respect and fear of the Iranians. Unlike the daft Saudi military which was losing on average a fighter jet a day in Yemen, the Iranian military is highly professional and dedicated . While the Saudi military is controlled by inbred coke sniffing princes , the Iranians on the other hand have a professional force. So to Alhaji Buhari, I urge you to use your brain when it comes to the mid east affairs and to stop using your sentimental attachments to the Saudi regime to drag Nigeria into any unnecessary conflict. The Iranians are no joke and are considered a very potent and serious threat in the terror game by anti terrorist consultants. Unlike the Saudis who throw money on any lunatic bunch , the Iranians are precise on their targets and have been known to use criminal gang networks to facilitate their terror plots. The Iranians unlike the Saudis do not just blow up any random train or bus to send their signal but as we have seen in Lebanon they target their enemies personally . There are two scenarios that will occur in Nigeria once this conflict escalates The Iranians will plan and execute their terror plots in Nigeria targeting not the common man but highly placed govt and Sunni religious leaders. The second and reactionary response to what is above will be retalaitory riots on shiites by the sunni majority and mass recruitment drive of northern Muslims by Sunni Clerics to join the war in Saudi Arabia. There will be many rich northerners that will gladly fund their trip via road to Sudan then onward via the Red Sea to Saudi Arabia. We as Africans have no business fighting and dying for these people. I therefore call on President Buhari to urgently retrace his blind allegiance to the dying and crumbling Saudi royal family. |
