Am a ftm too... and we are 34weeks today.....

This week though I find my sef thinking about Labour and how painful it's going to be and getting really really scared....
The last time it happened I actually burst into tears.....

Not much sex too as my husband is out of town......plus I had a threatened miscarriage at 21wks so being on pelvic and bed rest......

It is well with us mama..... I just cry and pray to my God cos am so sure he won't leave me..... I trust in him completely........

About this 'sex thing', we are just in the same shoe with @beatiegirl. I'm 34. 1wk today too and a FTM. I've had sex only twice since this journey. Last September (on a joyous mood) when I found out about the BFP, and only once in December on the day 1st trimester ended. The last sex got me bending, couldn't walk straight for a whole day and felt mild cramps. I tried to hide it but DH caught me and got scared. In the middle of 2nd trimester, mum asked if we were doing it regularly, well I lied to avoid unnecessary thoughts. She pointed that it was as important as food (lol) as it helps widen the vagina already for the birthing process. This got me really scared and few days later, I touched DH (though I was never in the mood) so it could happen but he no even look my side. After more attempts, I accused him of not touching me again because I'm no longer attractive (even though I'm scared myself if the last experience won't return, funny...) DH just laughed (how silly I looked) and pointed out that he's scared of all the talks about don't knack in the first trimester
to avoid miscarriage (we were both told by parents), plus results of the last sex, he can't do Jack! Then he encouraged me not to be scared that if he's out of town, I would still have our baby. That got me calm and also a piece I came across about sex or no sex during pregnancy got me more relaxed. Whether you do it or not, the cervix will naturally thin out during labour for baby's entry to the vagina, and once baby gets there, he will pass. The muscles in the pelvic area stretch to support. Even if baby is big, the highest is to obtain tear.
Dear teamies, whatever circumstance comes up later, let's just have faith, stay positive, and cooperate with our docs, because God gat our backs. It will surely end in praise!

So sorry about what you're going through, it will pass.
You can try ginger too. It worked well for me. Around month 2 of my first trimester, I always hold peeled ginger in my left palm while eating so when the urge to throw up comes, I chew a small piece, the urge vanishes. At that period I go anywhere with ginger in my purse. Sometimes it's always in my mouth like sucking sweet or bitter kola.

6 Types of People You Meet in Nigerian Banks


1. The Pen Borrowers: They never have a pen. These people are quick to say, "Please, borrow me your Biro" and once you give them your pen, just forget about it because that's the last of them you'll see, except if you're extremely lucky.

2. The "I dey ur Back" Team: Immediately they enter the bank, even before picking a slip (withdrawal or deposit), they are already asking who the last person on queue is. And before you answer, they'll say "I'm at your back." In most cases, 9 people will tell you, "Bros, I dey ur back." At the end of the day, you end up settling dispute between the person wey dey d back of person wey dey ur back.

3. The No protocol team: This kind of people don't even care who the last person on queue is. "First come first served" don't make any meaning to them. Immediately they come in, they just walk up to the manager, who offers them a seat, and within 5 mins they've completed there transactions while u go still dey dere dey grow grey hair for queue. (Dearis God oooo!)

4. The Bank Door rejectees: These category will always have problem with the bank door. You'll see them removing their belts, car keys, mobile phones etc and yet the machine keeps shouting "Bro, pls go back". Oga, next time come into bank naked! Biko, he go allow u in... LOL!

5. The slip wasters: These kind of people can waste slip 4Nigeria! To fill the withdrawal slip or deposit slip na JAMB questions? You'll see them cancelling, tearing, squeezing & taking another one. To write common 3,780 Naira in words na gobe. The so called "undergraduates " are the leader of this group. Na wa o.

6. The Voice of the People: These are the rebel leaders of the banking hall. "The queue is not moving na". "Yes, It's true. These people are just lazy". "I mean, this is arrant nonsense! I've been here for 59 min! This bank is a crap. I will close down my account and find a better bank" Come tomorrow, you go see am again for queue wit big goggle... speaking grammar. Bros, na only you waka come?
