They shouldn't even be collecting anything, are those companies not paying taxes to them everytime, infact those taxes are the reasons why they can't ban betting anytime there is talk about how it is killing people, tinubu is just doing all this because not many people are challenging him. Next tax might be airtime or one important service Nigeria uses well.

my problem is not majorly about the tax but what they will do with the money they r taxing us.

It's true, from every winning you'll be taxed 5% as from January 1st, if you win 5k they'll collect 250 100k it is 5k, 1m it is 50k if you lose you bear it alone. This government is just made to oppress the masses, this is the government some people were attacked on election days for.
