DOTian:
The Fulani straddles the West African plane effortlessly the same way the Han straddles across South East Asia. Yet while the Han has been able to unleash a modernising cultural regime that has grown sparkling cities and ebullient economies across South East Asia, the Fulani is still stuck at milking cows! Holy me! How can some desert urchins be so proud of their artavistically retrogressive culture? Look at what the Japanese did w ith their forward cultural practices. Look at what the English did for the western world. What has the fulani done for west Africa?

Apart from singing loudly of the way the butchered their way to power across West Africa, as is the case on this thread, what has been the fulani contribution to general socioeconomic growth in West Africa? No real businesses, just the likes of Dangote who are nothing but creations of corrupt contacts in government. What are Fulani contributions to academia, the science, sports, inventions and political modernisation in West Africa? Just name any apart from cudgels and daggers... God gave you guys the geographical spread to do good,. You chose to turn that into an opportunity to showcase violence, tyranny and backwardness! And you have the temerity to gloat about that. Where has your shame gone?

Many West African leaders are of the Fulani descent including the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari; the President of Senegal, Macky Sall; the President of Gambia, Adama Barrow; the Vice President of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh; and the Prime Minister of Mali, Boubou Cisse. They also lead major international institutions, such as the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina J. Mohammed; the 74th President of the United Nations General Assembly, Tijjani Muhammad-Bande; and the Secretary-General of OPEC, Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo.

The Fulani are the largest nomadic group of people in the world and have played an influential role in politics, economics, and religion throughout Western Africa for over a thousand years. Historically, the Fulani played a significant role in the rise and fall of ancient African empires such as the Ghana Empire, the Mali Empire, Songhai, and the Mossi states. The Fulani were the first group of West Africans to convert to Islam, and they played a principal role in the spread of Islam throughout West Africa.

The Fulani follow a code of behavior known as Pulaaku, consisting of the qualities of patience, self control, discipline, prudence, modesty, respect for others (including foes), wisdom, forethought, personal responsibility, hospitality, courage, and hard work.

As in the Imamate of Futa Toro, the Muslim and traditionalist Fula of Futa Jallon lived side-by-side. Then, according to traditional accounts, a 17th-century war erupted. In 1725, the Muslim Fulɓe took complete control of Futa Jallon after the battle of Talansan and set up the first of many Fula theocratic Empire.

Karamokho Alfa was appointed Emir al-Mu'minin ("Commander of the Faithful") and first Almami of the Imamate of Futa Jalon. He died in 1751 and was succeeded by Emir Ibrahim Sori, who consolidated the power of the Islamic state. Futa Jallon's theocratic model which later inspire the Fula state of Futa Toro.

There things you can't stop in life, like trying to stop Fishes from swimming, dogs from barking, man and woman relationship.

Let Kano continue to waste their time on the matter that should be left for individuals.

If they can see in public, what of private?
