Buying biscuit and opening it, only to find that air has tasted it before you

When your mum calls your sibling and you shout 'she went out!', and your mum replies 'okay, you come'

When a child breaks plate in an African home and is just waiting for the parents to come back

When you study for an exam all night till 6am, and then dose off, only to wake up by 10AM...and the exam is over

After setting formation for an exam, and the invigilator starts sharing question paper & answer sheets. Then he gets to your table and says 'hey you, come to the front'

...and it's a Friday evening

...then your ATM card doesn't come out again

...then you receive a debit alert

When the ATM goes skrrrrrrr... but doesn't bring out your money.

When light goes and as if that's not enough, you start hearing the sound your transformer sparking outside.

When you plug your phone to charge at night, only to see in the morning that you didn't turn on the socket.

When you accidentally send a message meant for your girlfriend... to your mum.

After bragging and talking the most trash before a fight, and they still end up beating you black and blue.

When you already bought beer for everyone in the bar because the team you bet on is winning, only for the other team to equalize and win at the dying minute.

When your entire family attends the same church, and while you're sitting next to your crush, your little sister taps you from behind and says 'mummy said I should give you this twenty naira for offering"

Back in secondary school, when you're being punished by a teacher and you look up and suddenly see your crush passing.

After eating in a restaurant and you reach into your pocket and discover you forgot your wallet

"Do you have dirty plates in the back I can wash?"

When your wife tells you she used the children's school fees to sow seed in church.

When you come out of a market and you touch your pocket, but can't feel your transport fare...and your phone.

When you've been standing at the ATM queue for two hours and it suddenly stops paying at your turn.

I think it's a mixed school and it's great you have accommodation to lessen your worries of renting one on your own.
