If you can score 277 in jamb that's very high, what are your o'level grades, you could get accounting, but let's consider your grades first

First, you don't have to be sorry. Then to your question, judging from last year, there were different topics to choose from, either you write on what you know about your course and why you want to study the particular course or what you intend to do with the course you applied for, and some other topics I can't remember.

What I meant was that students don't think of entrepreneurship as a good course you know when there is accounting and economics and of course you can work in a firm. An entrepreneur would be forever needed in a firm, the firm can decide to call the position any name they want but the need for one would always be there.

Oh yes! You see entrepreneurship is one of those courses that's given less attention but that is really good. Talking about graduating and searching for job, with entrepreneurship you need not worry about that cos one of the basis of entrepreneurship is creation of alternatives to white-collar jobs and lots more. The course is really good.

I wrote jamb last year as well, I had 58 but dint get in through jamb, someone with 60 got in. So I guess the cut off last year was either 60 or 59. It depends on general performance

Yeah, you can change at any level from 200, but to change from a less competitive course to a more competitive course might not be possible. Pple change from courses like accounting or economics to either Banking and Finance or Entrepreneurial Studies, not even Biz admin but they drop by one level(not sure if it's in all cases)

I should aim 70/80 but I'll advise you to change a less competitive course like Biz admin, Banking and Finance or Entrepreneurial Studies.

Accounting is 15, biz admin should be 15 too, all is less than 20 and most of them were from the FMP

We were 10, 3 through ND(2 of which are Statistics, the other one lipsrsealed

) , 1 was A-level and the other 6 are from the school's diploma program called FMP.

FUNAAB accepts both but I'll advise you to use subject combination of high grades

I wouldn't advise you to choose economics, they hardly(close to don't, if you know what I mean) accept biz admin for economics. you can choose biz admin for a better chance

It depends on the course you're coming in with. Composite is calculated with CGPA and o'level result but how it is calculated, I don't know.

that's good to hear. Please I humbly request you answer some few questions so I can be able to come to conclusion about A-level programs in other words, direct entry admission.

1. In which department were you admitted into?
2. What was the actual course you wanted to study?
3. Which A-level program did you pass through?
4. What was the required point for your department?
5. How many did you score after the final exam?

That would be all. Thanks in anticipation.

Before answering your questions I'll like you to know that I dint get in through A-level, it was through ND, but I got information from someone who did. Back to your questions:
1 and 2: Economics
3. Dunno much about that, but the subject combinations are Economics, Account and Business Studies, Mathematics is also useful.
4. Minimum of 10 points for Funaab.
5. No idea

I guess my answers should be satisfactory

If your friend has the following o'level combination with good grades (As and Bs precisely) he/she can go ahead: Mathematics, English, Economics, and any other 2 from Accounting, Government or Commerce. Mind you, Economics is really tough so strong o'level grades plus very high jamb and post ume score is what your friend needs.

If you can do a change of course to accounting, your jamb score is high, your post utme should be high as well, you should have a great chance to get accounting this year

YES, they take up to 75% of the slot for colmas if not more than. And they are given preferential treatment, like offering them admission despite their low composite. One might have a higher composite than a predite and yet be denied admission while the predite is offered admission. Pls try as much as you can, have a composite not less than 60, and you should be among the 25% jambite offered admission.
