dominique:Naaah, it's nothing. ![]() Ain't even mad, since the ID was never mine to begin with ![]() |
Anyway, now that the dust is settling a bit, let me just make these points before I leave this site permanently: How We Can Move Forward From Here: 1. I think Keshi SHOULD remain out coach: Yes, I said it. He should remain our coach for the next 4 years. Regardless of what anyone says, I think he's the man for this job. He's taken us places we haven't been in a very long time - Nations Cup victory, World Cup knock-out stages, etc. He should retain his post and further build our team, develop the much-needed cohesion, and build discipline. 2. Foreign technical strategists should be employed: No, I'm not saying we need Berti Vogts or any new coach for that matter; I'm saying we need some foreign technical advisers with experience from different parts of the GLOBE - Netherlands, South America, The Middle East, etc - who can help Keshi is devising plans against different teams with different styles of play, because Keshi can't do it all on his own. He seems to have Africa on lockdown, but he's not all-knowing when it comes to games involving European teams. We need technical advisers who can help us counter Tiki-Taka, Total Voetbol, Samba, etc. It's very important. 3. Now that Yobo has achieved his caps, can he be done away with already? Mikel too. As a matter of fact, I think it's time to do away with our old legs - Mikel, Yobo, Shola Ameobi and the likes. I believe these guys have nothing more to offer. 4. The era of giving preferential treatment to players simply because they play for some 'big team' in England has to be done away with. Costa Rica has shown us you don't need big names to win, so I fail to see why a complete nonentity like Mikel should be treated like a big deal especially when he isn't. The guy is a total waste. We should scan the globe for our willing players, and it shouldn't matter what country you play for. Imagine a dumb bench-warmer like Mikel starting for us just because he's listed in Chelsea. Follow these points above, and we'll have a flawless team. I still have faith in the Super Eagles. God bless Keshi. So long, Nairaland. |
Ogenyi Onazi is my MOTM, and the second he left, our "attacking spirit" vanished with him. He was our best midfielder tonight. Somehow, I also blame our team for not bringing the referee's attention to Patrice Evra's foul on Osaze. That was an obvious fhucking penalty. Oh well. I'm done ranting. I gotta go play Grand Theft Auto to drown my pain. Fhuck all of you. And goodbye, Nairaland. |
Chai. But Keshi sha, I'm not throwing shade per se, but... Shey, na you talk say Ike Uche no be team player. Well, we certainly have 'team players' now... Team players in BACK-PASSING ![]() |
Nigerians patiently waiting at MMIA to 'welcome' Mikel... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BrZYYnyIAAA4zzz.jpg |
That no. 10 jersey should be snatched from Mikel and handed to Iheanacho ASAP. I don't care if he's still too young. |
But as for you guys insulting Mikel... I think you're very wrong to do that. The entire blame rests on KESHI. Yes, KESHI. Only HE knows why he allowed that dunce Mikel play that long, disregarding his CONSISTENT flops with USA, Iran, Bosnia, Argentina AND this game's first half. Keshi should also take the blame for inviting Yobo despite his POOR performance at our friendlies, AND the Nations Cup. Remember we were only able to beat Ethiopia during the Group Stage match at South Africa AFTER he was benched! He shocked the continent when he defeated Ivory Coast, and that was because Yobo wasn't fielded. Even with all this, he still invited that log of burnt wood Yobo. Shameful. Stephen Keshi deserves every blame here, not even those two morons, Mikel and Yobo. |
By the way, I hope Yobo is finally proud of himself for finally achieving his 100th cap at the expense of the country. And I hope he lives with the shame of scoring an own goal on his 100th cap. Imbec!le. |
I have to say, Onazi's absence REALLY exposed Mikel Obi's inefficiency as a player. Not a single playmaker in the field. Keshi must really be kicking himself for not inviting Nosa Igiebor, Sunday Mba, etc. |
Kslib: I hope this is Mikel's last match for Nigeria..LOL. The guy is a big disgrace to that no. 10 jersey. What a shame. |
Too bad this is happening at this time. Anyway, my criticism goes to Keshi for keeping Mikel in this gane despite the GLARING fact that he's been totally useless since this tournament began. I don't know how many signs he needed before he could put his foot down. PS: Hey guys, this is Spade/Psychedelia. Kinda bummed to see the downtime has rendered this site a mess. Oh well. |
Guys, I think you should go easy on Elikem. Having watched him for over 2 months, we should know by now that misyarning is something he does all the time - From his time at the Diamond house to his controversy with Selly, Natasha and Pokello concerning the "he said, she said" issue where Bassey had to call a meeting as the HOH. Na just im thing. He talks a little too much, and is open to endless misyarns and goofs. Just like he kept talking about nominations 2 days ago until "Elikem shut up" started trending on Twitter ![]() I'm used to it. |
Seriously, this thread needs a flamewar. Maybe Melaria vs Mellish kinda thing ![]() |
tellitlikeitis: what's funny? The trouser na die naa. |
ItsModella: ^^^he already apologized so what's your ish?He's a patriot. A 'hero' ![]() |
god_of_music: THIS THREAD IS GONNA BE SO DULL FROM NOW!!!Yes oh my broda. I came back with a vengence - an audiophonic rage!!! ![]() but was Kslib really banned? Why? ![]() |
Elikem and Dillish get closer... https://cdn.dstv.com/originalproductions/article/Love_74d1aab9-1a24-4e1d-bbad-f477f8add475_501307195005988.png But of course the deluded "Mellish" howlers won't see this one. People who claim to love Dillish, but keep pushing and hoping she tarnishes her image and humiliates her boyfriend on Continental Television just to fuel their morally-wretched fantasies. May we never encounter such 'fans' IJN. |
♛AndrERush♛:Nope, I'm not even home. I'm on the road. But that's okay, I'm not the one driving. In a family van travelling all the way from Okigwe (Imo) to Makurdi (Benue).... By ROAD ![]() Night trips can be fun when safe, mehn. It's been a while since I did this. |
♛AndrERush♛:Shhhhh! ![]() |
Okay, okay, okay ![]() I've edited the post ooo! Need to wake this thread up however necessary. |
Nomski0: Please, does anyone know Maria's twitter handle?@MariaNepembe http://www.twitter.com/MariaNepembe |
Could someone be kind enough to transcribe Beverly's entire 2Shotz story for those of us who weren't watching or even home for that matter? ![]() |
Alright, post edited ![]() |
abikyshow: oneal is really crazy.Yes, but your post was really difficult to read. It's difficult to separate and tell which comment belongs to the interviewer and which one belongs to The Owl. Mind formatting it a little? |
I sure hope Feza listened attentively to Beverly's story... Cuz O'Neal will definitely get to that stage. Abusive boyfriends/husbands are known to have deep inferiority complex issues at the base of their self esteem. A deep feeling of frustration at their inability to make up for their own percieved inadequacies. That is ONE thing ALL abusive boyfriends/husbands are known to have in common... And O'Neal certainly embodies it. A word is enough for the wise. |
I really pray Bimp wins HoH. That way, he and Dillish are atleast sure of the finals together... Some really dumb Nigerians no sabi strategise sha... Hoping Bimp gets evicted? Really? |
Mehn, if you're not reading "Betty & Bimp - Big Brother The Chase" page on Facebook right now, then you're seriously missing ![]() The drama unfolding in that fanclub is epic. Namibians and Zambians don fully dock for that page fighting for votes. Ethiopians are torn between voting for Namibians who have had their backs 3 times, and voting for Zambians who broke the SADC code by betraying Bore'Neal. The Zambians say their hopes are on Ethiopia for it is because of their decision to vote Bimp that they are left without a solid alliance now. The Namibians plead with the Ethiopians to ignore the Zambians because their only reason for voting Bimp was to get rid of Oneza, not because they gave a phuck about Bimp or the Ethiopians. The Zambians also retort by reminding the Ethiopians that Dillish has not only been nominating Bimp, but has also been 'decampaigning him' in the Diary room. The fights, attacks and pleas are awesome to watch ![]() |
god_of_music: Mheeeeen! Your write up was very professional and neat..LOL! See washing oooo! ![]() Well, I'll never say never. It might just happen in the future; so my options will remain open ![]() |
god_of_music: Spadey are you a writer??Nope. Why you dey ask? |
GH KWAME: I hear Oneal hasn't tweeted anyHis handle is @Onizee. Now I miss the old Twitter layout, which enabled me to read mentions from the Search list in proper reverse-chronology. ![]() I remember BBAmplified, all the fire Vimbai caught from Karen fans. I read the whole thing in the exact order they appeared by simply typing "Miss_vee263" (her former handle) in the search bar. But this new interface makes it difficult. |

for that though
