PLease I will want to use this medium to notify the IGP and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police of the continues harrassment of Okota Police station command on citizens.
It has become a daily routine for this police officers always stationed at Ago-Palace Way roundabout to harrass members of the public,expecially young boys by always stopping to search there phones and extortion of money even nothing incriminating is found on them.
The motorists are not exempted,sometimes causing serious traffic.I believe citizens have certain Rights.Why search people's phones and even after identifying yourself as a respectable citizen,they still find ways to extort money from you.Some of this police officers,even the rank and file officers have cars which I definitely know there salary can't afford.
They are in summary armed robbers and not police men.
I hope this complaints gets to the right place and hope something should be done to cub their mad behavior.

Over the years,we have witnessed and experienced our country (Nigeria) politicians leading this country from bad to worse with unfulfilled campaign promises and policy that 92% never come to reality. If at this new age,politicians still base their campaign on good roads, pipe borne water and power supply and non amongst it has been fulfilled since 1999 till date then we should wake up to reality. We ought to have overcame all these between 1999-2007, we are still in the struggle.


The cruel and barbaric politics in Nigeria is that we still have the same set of people/family in the corridor of power. The power rotates just around them and their families They embrace Nepotism not ready to give in to the voice of common people and the youth to stand as the voice in governance. The question now is Where is our stand in NIGERIA, will the voice of the poor masses will ever be heard?
