When light up Lagos project was announced by Gov Ambode of Lagos State, it was wellcome innitiative by residence of Lagos.
Its so unfortunate that the way and manner in which some of the projects were executed possesses environmental hazard, especially those that were erected on Lagos Abeokuta express way.

The polls were badly erected, electrical cables were not well buried on the ground, some of the cable were passed through drainages ETC.

Its less than 2 months this project was commissioned and it has never work for good one week, its always on and off.

One just wonder why government does not inspect project given to contractors before rushing to commission it.

I do not expect Lagos of today to spend millions of naira on such project without proper supervision.

The light up Lagos project was a very good idea when it wwas announced by Gov. Ambode but it so unfornate that the way and manner the project were executed are totally bad from my perspective and experience.

Let's take for example, the street lights on Lagos Abeokuta express way were badly contructed and erected., the electrical cables were not well buried on the ground, while some cables were passed through the drainages.

One just wonder if the government does not go round to inspect projects before been commissioned, or is it because its a pady pady government, that was why they decided to waste our fund without having explanation for the masses.

The street lights on Lagos Abeokuta express way hardly work for complete one week, its always on and off.
The construction possesses environment al hazard.
