Lets get this right. If your car is a manual transmission, what did your mechanic use the Abro ATF for? Did he use it as engine oil? ATF is abreviated Automatic Transmission Fluid and im trying to cross reference it with your decision to replace with Mobil XHP which is an engine oil.

With regards to you carrying out the oil change, it may appear simple or easy to do on the EOD Honda if you are good with DIY on cars but i would still advice you to look for a good, experienced profesional mechanic to do that for you or else you may end up with very expensive repair bills if something goes wrong.

I hope you dont intend to use the Mobil XHP oil in your gearbox as this is actually meant for engines. Its an engine oil not an automatic transmission fluid. Pls do not use this for your gearbox.

you need to be careful with the type of oil you use for your Honda auto transmission. The manufacturer recommended transmission fluid for your car is HTF Z1. This may be purchased from Honda place or we get it for you. Using a different fluid other than this could damage your gearbox.
