You just set an appointment with a mechanic and go have it repaired. Although if your car were insured, depending on a company you could try to claim repair expenses, fully or partially. Is your car physically in the U.S. now? I am currently reviewing three offers for purchasing a used car and this one looks really nice. My question is whether you pay for a pre-sale technical examination or the customer does it? Secondly, before I have it registered in CA I don’t want to drive it. For me the biggest problem with the used car was to have it properly insured. First of all in the state I am now the laws are different from what they are in where I used to previously live.
