I would not have made my post if I hadn't imagined that particular misunderstanding and gone extra length to forestall and prevent it as I explained.

Anyway, my intent is not to stir a discourse on the issue, just wanna have a record of what played out here.

My interactions with the guy tells me for certain it will be called to reckoning.

The major cause of something like this is difference in wallet type e.g you may be using blockchain while he is using paxful. When two different wallet types are involved in a transaction, it is better to reach an agreement on price using payment per btc instead of payment per dollar. It might be that what he actually received is less than the one on blockchain.info.

I thought of that, which was why i specifically told him the rate on my wallet; for his approval, and still went ahead to check on blockchain before sending.

I do not intend to distract fellows here.
But i do know for certain this issue will come into reckoning someday.

Good afternoon NL traders

I just wanna bring everyone's attention to the fact that yuppy101 is a very petty and dishonest trader as evidenced by his dealing with me.

I sold him the little sum of $10 btc, told him the btc value i would be sending by my wallets rate ($10 = 0.00157337 btc), and still went ahead to check & calculate by blockchain.info rate (0.00157337 btc = $10.05).

yuppy101 eventually confirmed receiving $9.98 in his wallet and deducted the 2cents from my payment.

Well, it is a paltry sum and negligible, but this is the most debased level of pettiness and dishonesty i've come across.
While the amount involved can be ignored, i feel the actions of yuppy101 (trusted because of his esteemable history) is simply too disgusting to be ignored, and thus, simply want it to be on record.
