For the web app, i understand that anybody who have access to the app can contribute to the data entry from anywhere

but on another thought, why not just open excel and type the data, since you say it can be in any directory not online?

Just do it like this my snap shot.

After such user enter student result and click 'enter result' the result data should enter into the excel.
This excel can be place in any directory you wish. The main things is just to have the data available in the excel.

NB: I develop the below with php. My main problem is to convert it to window apps since am not good in java.

Lemme get somethings straight. I currently work in a warehouse and I am on the look out for a warehouse Management system (WMS).

We receive nationwide orders from 20-30 distributors daily each order with approximately 22 lines each line ordering from 5 products to a few hundreds.

The orders come in excel format.

Also each product has a stop-ship date (date beyond which the product cannot leave the warehouse) and expiry date. Each product has a master data specifying the number of products cases in a pallet as Well as how the stop ship and expiry is calculated. Expiry dates are in the Julian calendar format.

Using ur solution, can massively import the orders without having to retype them again?
Can I set up product master data including expiry date calculation?
Does ur product split order picks into full pallet and less than full pallet picks?

Seems like your solution isn't what I'm looking for. Its more of a POS than a WMS

What warehouse functionality does it cover? Is it able to generate directed putaway? FEFO picking instructions?

It has its own inventory Management control which can be used to monitor stocks.
It monitors products using FIFO
