Its a clear evidence that Nigerians protested the removal of fuel subsidy which was announced by GEJ in 2012.. The protest which cut across all borders of the country was possible because our economy was in shambles and citizens were devastated. The economic right of the citizenry was not met by PDP led government for over 13 years of our democratic dispensation.

The PDP led government spent approximately 16 years without provision of basic amenities such as constant power supply, in which specific amounts was set aside for improvement of power sector.

The APC led government took over power less than a year ago with policy formulation, budget presentation and budget approval which was finally signed into law on the 6th of May 2016 (no up to a week).

It should be noted however that the current hike in fuel prices will concurrently affect prices of goods and services thereby making life difficult for the average Nigerians/poor masses.

Our hope as Nigerians is to monitor the implementation of the 2016 budget and also note whatever foul play that occurs during this exercise as this will serve as a tool for decision making come next election.. Our prayers also matters a lot...

NOTE: I am not criticizing any government but we all need to be abreast of what we deserve as a citizen..
We can never compare a 16 year old boy with a boy less than or approximately a year. The latter needs to stagger before he can stand then run..
