Alhamdulillah for everything, no matter how weird the story I still have the grace to give Glory to God. I'm not on the top of the world but the little is much if God is in it. I hawked for my mama no be small I trekked to the extent that if I should sum up all the distance I've covered it will equivalent to the kilometers between Lagos and Benin Republic. One Eastern guy once approached me for jamb result upgrading back in 2010 at Unilorin Remedial Center at Geri Alimi, after Saw mill, Ilorin. But I used my thinking faculty to reason the implications. These are the thoughts that came to my mind. 1. It's only me as individual that will have the fake result, will the upgraded score be on the jamb portal? 2. The admission is for Unilorin what if kasala burst at the physical or on-line screening of results after I might have wasted resources and efforts? I zeroed my mind and registered for another jamb that earned me the admission following year in 2011... Alhamdulillah today I've archived everything into the museum of history 4 Likes |

One thing is that I'm very proud of Ibadan, though I'm not a native of IB, but Ibadan is a legendary home built by the dwellers of Old Oyo empire. Ibadan has never being conquered is not a victim of war zone like we've in the South East. The Brown Roofs you see are Family houses which have spent more than 30yrs Old and still standing. It's sarcasm to compare Ibadan or any Brown roof republic with the state constructed after the civil war have shown them shege. The reconfiguration of the the S.E is part of the compensation of Gowon 3Rs policy. If Ibadan is Brown or any south West me personally, I'm proud of what Yoruba used to call "Ise-n-baye" This are the building that every Kaaro o jire should be proud of . When you get to Ibadan, the houses of Ibadan legendary warriors such as Ibikunle, Iba-Beere, Sapati, Ogunmola, still standing tall. These are our heritage to show our generations that Ibadan has never being conquered unlike other region which 3Rs policies were used to compensate them after they might have lost out in the civil war. My family houses have being built for more than 80yrs, the mud used is still blinking while the roof keep on brownish... I love it so much. Because almost all the sons and daughters from that compound have built their own modern houses. Come to Ring Road, J.Allen, NNPC, Born Photo, Molete, Oke-Bola, etc come and see modern houses will built there. We left those Brown Roofs there, to keep the home of our legends and Warriors alive Ibadan has never been conquered rather Ibadan is a conquerer that's why those building still remain. Our legends protected them for us to see. Most of those Brown Roofs houses are family Houses YORUBA ni mi, a bi mi pelu Ayo I'm not Nnanayo. Not only Zenith bank. It seems some banks marketers usually sell out customer information. Few weeks ago, one of our security who doesn't have BVN , NIN let alone bank account before. He went to Access bank to open an account. When his account is ready he got a message that I helped him to interpret that his account his ready for usage. Believe you me guys, nobody else knows that this guy has open an account, 2 days after the account is ready for usage, he got a phone call from a scammer asking for the last 3 digit at the back of his ATM after the scammer have said all his information. The guy rushed down to me to speak with the person because he doesn't understand English. I quickly told him, those are the 419 I told you about be expecting their calls once in a while because you're already have a bank account 1 Like |
