There is a trans boy who wants to play in the school team. Democrats go like We have to be inclusive , the trans boy has to play in the girls team, use their locker rooms and showers .Virtue signalling.

When it comes to funding research, they are wasting most of it but some is going to good use . When DOGE pauses it, Hey funds for research have been stopped. People are going to die.
The sad part is that they are shopping for like minded judges ,but the whole agenda is sabotage Trump.

USAID was a bipartisan effort that was funded through Congress.
The current Secretary of State Rubio was a huge proponent of it. Going as far as to say it needed more funding.
Every programs has some corruption but USAID was probably one of the more tightly accounted for programs.

I see Ukraine differently.
1.) We should be paying Ukraine for what they are doing. They are fighting a war against Russia, weakening them and we are not losing any troops in the process.
2.) We eventually want Ukraine's minerals and grains. At a minimum we want to keep them away from Russia.
3.) We also were able to send Ukraine a lot of our old decommissioned weapons and clean up those stock[iles.
4.) Though we allocated the funding to Ukraine, a lot of that money was spent making weapons in the US. In fact it was spent in a lot of Republican districts making those weapons.
5.) The war has allowed us to test our weapons against a geo poltiical adversary who was supposed to have good weaponry. It also allowed us to see how new battles will be waged. Indispensable knowledge.
I'm sure that's how the politicians who gave the money saw it as well. And I don't think it's a terrible use of money if you're thinking it from that perspective.

You talk about homelessness, how do you want to fix that without funding?
Google the GI Bill.
The VA.
A lot of the programs that are so indispensable in our lives that you don't even know benefit you, the Dems created through that funding.
Once they are cut, you'll understand. But you should understand what it's like as I assume you've lived in Naija at some point.

Dems genuinely believe in those causes.
Trump is cutting funding to Cancer Research, pardoning J6 felons who hurt police officers, and screeching about rape while being credibly accused of Rape. His actions do not match his words.

I'm not arguing the clap.
Dems are trying to fight a battle with someone who lies when he is talking.
They are unaccustomed to fighting this way and will make some mistakes.

I'm saying that you should do your research and if that image meant so much to you, you should support the policies and programs that allowed that child to live.
Trump is cutting those.

Trump is literally cutting aid for cancer research. How many children will be affected.
He is cutting aid for life saving medication around the world. How many children have died or will die?
His HHS secretary is recommending viatimes for measles outbreaks where 1 child who wasn't vaccinated already died.

Stop with the performative politics and use your mind for a sec.
Look at the issues not at the shiny propaganda that is shoved in your face.
If you care about black children who have cancer, look at whose policies will help them the most.

I wouldn’t go as far as not going for an aww moment for a sick kid especially if it’s one of the last significant moments of their life before they pass.

But it’s silly to not recognize this is clout chasing by the Trump administration. Y’all claim they don’t play the race card but want to use a sick black baby to get Africans and African Americans to support a destructive govt that ultimately doesn’t care about anyone least of black babies.

You know what’s going to happen with defunding NIH? Less funds going into childhood cancer research. Picking a sick kid to do a photo op moment with while giving a middle finger to every single one of them out there in the community is a very low even by Trump already low standards.

If you take care of cancer patients, you’ll understand that what they need most sometimes is funds to participate in medical treatments that haven’t been made widely available to the general population due to funding issues. Further defunding those already lean programs is inhumane.

A photo op moment is for the pride and clout of the person doing it. Not the population that’s supposed to benefit from it.

I pity NYSC people sha. Since May 2024 when they increased minimum wage till now, they are still receiving N33k instead of the N77k they promised them.

Imagine 10 good months of being hopeful and not seeing any change in their monthly allowance. To think that the normal NYSC calendar year sef no pass 12 months.

To be sincere I can't see just one single thing this Tinubu's administration has done that has been to the benefit of the common man on the street. It just seems he came to power to make life extremely difficult for the average Nigerian.

How people supporting him manage to look at the situation of things, turn back and see positives in his administration for the past 2 years is what I really don't understand.
