Ehen. Ayaf remember. Primary 6. I stay in Lawanson, surulere LGA in lasgidi then My skul was in v.I, the cantonment. Those that no how far the dist is wud understand. As a kid, I was left with masef, had to go to skul alone and return alone. Most at tyms ppl see me and b like. "Omo yii, Wa he ngbe e" (this boy, cum lemme carry u) Happily I accept, since that's always wat I wanted. And of course, I spend the money. The day wey nemesis go catch me, na Friday. As I was going home, my uncle's colleague saw me and be like, don't worry, I'd pay for u. Happily I accepted. And that morin person don carry me before. I reach house I no tell dem, I had feeling some shii wud happen, so I tried breaking the money, but I cudnt, so I forgot. On Monday, I peeped from window during break and saw ma uncle and his colleague gisting, then I remembered the money. The money was 110, go 50, cum 60. Unfortunately, I had 100 naira with 10 naira. I was already trembling. Then somebody came to meet me and told me my uncle needed my attention. I went, on my way, I tried to break it still no avail cos I no wan gv am that morin own. Unfortunately, I cudnt. I went to meet him, greeted him. He then asked. She said she paid ur money on Friday is it true, I answered in affirmative. Okay, why didn't u tell me. That had been my prop, I was avoiding that qst, I then told him, I had forgotten. He now asked for the money, I gave him 100 bucks and he asked, how come. I no confessed, someone had paid my money in the morin, he asked the remaining 10 naira??, I said I had misplaced it. He looked at me with one kind eye and I was so sorry for mysef, I felt embarrsd. I took it with faith. My father later asked same question weeks later 2 Likes |
