Saw 1 episode in 2014 after the hype and I was disappointed. That further buttressed the point that people's opinion/interests differs.

lol I get your point about online opinions. Most times, anything to trend.

I also avoid reading online reviews. Watching an episode or 2 helps me decide better.
In bold, that was how I made my decision about GOT. As I only saw episode 1 of season 1. After that I just didn't pick any interest to continue.
If I was to go by what people said about GOT, I'm sure I'd have seen all the season by now.

Especially the "Winter is coming" hype couple of years ago. huh! That doesn't mean the series wasn't special or interesting to people. It's just preferences.

Well I don't follow movies online

I spend less time reading about movies online so I can always form my judgement

I stared GOT as far back as 2011

I was barely online then and even though I heard of Niaraland in 2007-2008 I never had any real reason to join till later and all other sites are just there as far as am concerned

So I don't know what's up regards movies. Once I like the first episode and first season I may just keep watching


You see I rarely read through all threads etc. I like to form my opinion without the regular dropins from People who would always talk without getting the facts
