What a relief for we on Joli with regards to free night calls and free monthly sms. Joli freebies as the plan is called allows free 16 monthly on-net sms and free night calls from 12:30am to 4:30am. However the catch is we are only allowed 4 sms weekly, while the 1st minute for the night call is billed at N15 then subsequent mins is free for the night. All this by dialing *211*51#.

Different strokes for different folks, before crucify and vilify Zain finish, the Zain lite actually works really good. However, there are certain conditions under which you get best usage. For instance, if your device is configured with the WAP settings you will experience difficulty connecting with the data plan. You need to have the ACCESS settings to optimize the package and your SIM also should be provisioned with internet.ng.zain.com and not wap.ng.zain.com. Had the same frustration until I spoke with the Customer care agent who bailed me out.
Also the package is ideal for light users as the name (lite) suggests. Tried it once on my laptop and under 35 minutes I've consumed about 25MB (with multiple tabs open). Ideally, it works well on the hand held devices, then if your SIM is provisioned for 3G (like mine is), the speed can be amazing getting up 105 kilobyte/s download speed at burst period.
