NIGERIA DEMOCRACY DAY!

As long as we keep looking at the past, we tend to loose sight of how the future looks like. History only shows that we are coming from somewhere, going to a destined place.
The past isn't our destination. Don’t talk about it as if it is.

Whatever had gone wrong is gone. None of us should slow us down by bringing what had gone to where we are.


Let's focus our energy on what can come out of what we do today. And by so doing, we create a beautiful reference point for where we will be tomorrow. We know about how our past points the direction for our future. But, we will never dwell on our past. History is only a reference place, not a destination.

We have come too far together to loose hope in this great nation. We have been in it together in all seasons, it's not time for us to back out now. With you and I, Nigeria can be a better place.

"I will rather speak about what I want than to grumble about what I lose. I will rather talk about where I ought to be, than to blab about where I have been."

If you and I could do things right. If we could initiate a chain; a chain of right living, a chain of excellent values, a chain of sound beliefs and worthy conduct, our children after us will no longer grope in darkness of the past. Rather, they will walk with their head straight and their eyes fixed on a new Nigeria.
The seat of power is not with the few that sit on the law, neither is it with the minority that enforces the law. The seat of power is with the majority that decides the law. The vast number that are bonded together by one goal. They many whose passion isn't for self gain or self praise but for selfless service. Nigeria is not a nation of the politicians. Nigeria is ours. You and I decides what we want to do with what is ours.

"I will no longer join in the mediorces to speak evil of what is mine. My mouth will be joined together with the men and women all over the nation and in diaspora to speak THE GIANT OF AFRICA into reality."
No matter how bad it has been from the past, we won't dwell on history anymore.
A New Nigeria is a reality. Let's keep envisioning a better nation

You are first and foremost more important to God that the things you attach importance to in life. You are His priority, His first, not the things you ask for, nor the ones you desire of.

"If you know how much you mean to God, you will stop crying over shallowness of the things you don't have."

God is not interested in the things others have which you've not gotten.
He is not concerned about where others are, which you have not reached.
God is just concerned about YOU.
God's interest is YOU. He is after you, being the real you. He is after your heart. He really wants to capture the totality of your being.

God is more interested in making you the best YOU, than giving you the best degree, the best job, best car or best man. God's interest in you is that your life won't be based on 'things' but on who he wants to make of YOU. God wants to MAKE YOU , so that you can begin to make things happen and not asking for things.

YOUR TRUE IDENTITY

We need to start seeing ourselves, just as the way God sees us.
When the eyes through which you see yourself is quite different from the eyes through which God sees you, then, the image of yourself or the identity of yourself becomes undefined.

What is an undefined identity?

An undefined identity is when the creature sees the direct opposite of what the creator see about His creature. A phenomenon which leads to a conflict of identity between divinity and humanity.
Always remember this, each time God looks at us, he doesn't see us in our confused, frustrated and filthy state. No! When God looks at us, he sees himself in us.
God doesn't see the unpleasant situation before you. This does not mean He is ignorant of what you are going through. God see US before our situation. He had always seen us in charge, in the forefront and not that unpleasant situation behind us.
What is behind you is not as important as what is ahead of you. This is the whole concept; God doesn't see our past. He doesn't have business with our present state. He see the future He has for us, inspite of what we are passing through presently.
Therefore, in whatever thing you are passing through, never think God hates you or He is punishing you for a wrong you did.
If God cannot hate Jesus, He can't do the same to you. He sees Jesus, each time He looks at you. You are the righteousness of God. God's own inhabitant.

"Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was VERY GOOD..." Genesis 1:31

Listen, when God created you, He said you are very good. What He meant was that you are just perfect.
God sees perfection in everything he had created.God is good. God is perfect. He, however, see himself in all that He had made and created.
We need to also start seeing God in everything and in everywhere that we go. I urge you to begin to see God in that your business, in that your relationship, in that your family, in that boy you called stubborn, in the girl you called prostitute, even on that street you tagged 'forsaken'. See God in everything. For indeed, God is in everything.
When you see God in everything, then you are bound to get the best of everything. This helps you relate right, do right and do excellently well because you become conscious of God in everyone and through everything.

God will never see less of himself in you. You are are to stand up, look up and see what God had been seeing about you. If you are blinded to what God is pointing at for you to see, it means you can't possess what he has for you. The revelation of yourself is written in the word of God, search it out and then you will find yourself and see yourself just the way God sees you.
