PulaPower:Take Peter Obi as example.... |
Redomi:Okayyy I'm a Catholic. We have Mass every day of the week. It takes about 2hrs on Sunday and 30 to 45mins on weekdays. Only Sunday Mass is compulsory. The rest are not but we are advised to attend. The people I know that attend weekdays are usually people who live close to the church and can make it to the Mass by 6:30am, Or people who just add it to their routine. Make sure the children are prepared for school by 6am. Take them to church by 6:30am, take them to school by 7am... |
Carndidlaydid:Most times, you come early and you are at the front. You are enjoying the show so much that you don't notice when the crowd has grown so much behind you |
My eyes become watery when eating hot or peppery food. Also when losing too much chess games online. ![]() |
proff010:If I had not seen this quote before, I'd have been talking the way you're doing now.
|
Op I think you are making noise at this point. many other people here think so too |
ITbomb:Engineers apply principles formulated by scientists and researchers to create a solution for a problem. When I create a solution for a problem, I can fix whatever fault that comes up in that solution. In order to fix faults in solutions created by other people, I have to learn about their solution first. This is what the roadside mechanic or technician does. An internal combustion engine was invented. Different manufacturers added extra components to optimize their design for their specific need. As an engineer, you learn how the original engine was made and how it works. You can't be taught all the variations that has been made to it. That's where you have technicians and mechanics that specialize. |
ITbomb:You want to replace iPhone's chip ke? From where? How? With what? Not everything is replaceable hence roadside technician would tell you the motherboard has burnt when actually, an irreplaceable component on the motherboard got burnt. |
sonofanarchy:The curriculum was not made for practising. As an engineering student, we are basically being instilled with Knowledge and more on Problem Solving Mindset. The problem is that each engineering course you know is actually very very diverse. Since there's limited time, you can only have the basic knowledge of each field. Take for example, I'm studying Electronics and Computer Engineering. Fields we are expected to have a basic idea on: Electrical Engineering (generating and substations, calculations on NEPA transmission lines and prepaid meter billing) Programming of Microprocessors Artificial Intelligence Telecommunication Engineering (How network providers operate). Do you see now that what we have a wide knowledge compared to the roadside phone repairer? People in Mech don't do only automobiles...they do air conditioning too, even biomass energy generation. Lastly, asking a mechanical engineer to repair your car is like asking a medical doctor to perform hemispherectomy....you need a neurosurgeon for that. Likewise, you need a mech engineer who is specialized in automobiles to repair your car |
MASTAkiLLAh:Yesterday, I went for Students Governorship rally in Anambra. The governor told us we were gonna receive 6k each. He paid in cash. About 12 million. But we no see anything, those NANS guys present just shared Abt quarter of it and drove away with the rest. |
CSTRR:I know the guy .... he knows what he's doing. It's not about whether he needs the money, consider that people are paid many times more for what they do in BBN.. |
Did they pay for previous ones? |
Peller is under fire, he should take cover ![]() |
Omo |
Meanwhile Best graduating student from Unizik and also from my department, Electronics and Computer Engineering. The guy had CGPA of 4.95, it's only 250k I heard they gave him. ![]() Modified: Just saw another topic where he was awarded 500k, but the news hasn't entered our school media yet sha... |
Mopeola:As a student, taking garri saves my money for short term. More like a short term loan. Also garri can be taken to satisfy cravings....same way somebody can crave Aboki indomie and egg...even with what has been said about noodles and that sodium glutamate whatever .. |
The guy made a long post about web3 and his discord server asking people to join the server. I saved the page on my Chrome browser hoping to visit the post again to use the link when I downloaded the Discord App. Now I've downloaded the app, I went back to the link but lo and behold, Nairaland has deleted the page. If you are the guy, pls signify, if you know the guy, pls help me. Thanks |
Tightpussy2024:True to some extent. Also consider there are guys who have female besties not for their sexual needs. |
Needs of a human being includes both financial and emotional needs. The fact that you can't fulfill your financial needs doesn't mean you shouldn't fulfill your emotional needs. They are two completely different things. |
This is funny for real ![]() |
Funny people Very useless sanctions. This thing no for concern me too But if they reverse the sanctions after Trump ends the war, they should better return Chelsea to Abramovich. Na the only thing wey concern me for this matter |
Nnamdipapa:By marriage....not by blood. There's nothing like divorce in a blood relationship with you parents and siblings. Nevertheless, it all depends on who asks to bring the family over. If my wife asks first, I can't refuse and place mine first. But trust me to be the first to ask after reading this topic. And of course, it also depends on whether I'll be successful enough to be able to relocate out of the country when the time comes. |
My family first. Blood is thicker than water |
Wizardslayer:It is this minding of ones businéss that increases crime here in Anambra. About two weeks ago, I was on my bed in my lodge in Awka when I jeard a girl screaming on the street and another guy repeatedly saying "Senior man abeg na". Apparently a girl had been robbed on the streets and the guys around were begging the robber. Something that I know can never happen in Lagos. |
If she says Peller is more sensible than her, then I guess I'll have to start seeing her differently ![]() |
It's not up to a month that I attended a cyber security conference and we were encouraged to reduce our online footprint and then I get hit with this. Seun, You want to sell and broadcast our data to over 100 vendors across the internet. You aren't concerned about the issues on this platform: Tribalism, Misogyny, Religious Equality. You are only concerned about making more money. Even though as a software dev I know it's possible that there might be no real way to decline this, for the benefit of doubt I just want to make it clear here that I did not accept or consent to anything

My SUG government doesn't support this appointment so amarom ife i na ko |
trendingnigeria:Elon Musk's Optimus is $30k Make Dem just add money buy the real robot...smh |
Just so we dont brand it as cult killings. Cultism in Unizik is minimal or even non existent sef |
Nazgul:I'm in my 3rd year in unizik now and I stay in Ifite too. I don't think there's cultism here. According to the story here, unknown gun men were chasing an Alhaji driving Benz to kidnap him, then Hausa Men started throwing things on the road which slowed down the gunkens vehicle and made the Alhaji escape. So the gunmen came back and took revenge on the Hausa guys. There are also rumours of the Hausa guys planning to revenge. I don't know who they want to revenge on o. Make Dem no sha kill innocent students. These Events usually increase when we're on holidays just like now. Another one happened abt last 2 weeks too but no death was recorded sha |
Plastic surgeon work...They may need to graft skin to cover the wound |
