I just left d PRO's office and admission building and made several calls,there are no such news abt admission lists coming out. Jst knw dis that the cutoff marks wil be released first b4 talkin abt admission lists. Again,if there are any lists,d skool wil compile and send it 2 d jamb and NUC for approval,after which the 2 bodies wil add their own names if there are and resend d lists 2 d skool 4 publication in d skool website. Later jamb and NUC wil upload them 4 admission slips,records and so on. I was supposed 2 leave 4 abuja 2day bt i wil stay a little longer 2 comfirm wats happenin b4 i leave. Stay kool and relax

Skool wil compile their admission lists,send them 2 jamb and NUC for approval,these 2 bodies wil add their own names if they hv anybody they want 2 help wit d consent of d skool b4 returnin d lists 2 d skool 4 publication in d skool website. Its later b4 matriculation dat d jamb wil upload the names into their own website 4 admission slips and so on. So be careful abt d kind of info u belv. If u claim 2 check urs,drop your reg nos lets see

I was in unn on wednesday 4 their convocation and am stil there til dis minute,i was also wit d PRO yesterday's evenin,no such info has officialy been released. After d release of cutoff marks,merit admission lists follows,dat has been d admission culture nt only in unn bt in most universities. So everybody shld relax,i wil be in d admission building and PRO office 2morow 2 comfirm and i wil get back 2u all

I hav a serious date we hav stayed upto 2 & half yrs, he is also 4rm my state but different village, and based in Spain & he loves me so much even when he is not in Nigeria he takes care of me more than when he was in Nig. So he asked me to give him my elder brother's phone number and i did, he called my brother and told him dat he got his number 4rm his little sister. Since then we ar chating online and he calls me all the time on phone asking me to be his wife, dat he knew my family very well and knew me also when i was too tender. Now, he is sending his people to tell me dat he loves me dat he wants my hand in marriage, all dis while he use to call me every 24hours of the day to know about my health and to tell me dat he loves me so much, and pleading me to marry him. As this Easther, he called his people to come and see me so dat i will know his parents, right now am comfused. I dont know what to do, if to be wit my date who always  act as a husband to me but not to open his mind and tell me what he wants, but in his acting i knew where he is going, but this other guy dat's my brother's friend  now open up to me, but the problem there was dat i only saw him on wedcam and pictures not physical. but proposing to me and sending me to visit his family on this easther sunday.

Nwafor-Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, in Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State, is to be upgraded as a university of education soon.

The development is sequel to the accreditation of 21 programmes offered by the college by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the issuance of university degrees.

According to the provost of the college, Professor Fidelis Okafor, who spoke at Nsugbe on Monday, "the NUC had issued a directive that all colleges of education offering degree programmes through affiliation with universities should stop until the facilities and course contents are checked.

"So, we abided by this order just as other colleges did. The commission visited us last September and spent three to four days in the college making inspections. We later received a letter dated November 19, 2008, but delivered two weeks ago approving all our 21 programmes for the award of University of Nigeria Nsukka degrees."

Okafor further disclosed that authorities of the institution had completed 70 per cent of all requirements for the college to be upgraded to the status of a university education, adding, "construction work will begin for the building of an auditorium, which would also serve as a lecture hall.

"We shall also commence renovation of our library, which is indeed the heart of every academic institution. Also, the NUC has directed us to ensure that our lecturers had minimum of PhD and to encourage others that do not have it to go back to school."

He also announced that machinery had been set in motion, using the process by which the late Tai Solarin College of Education was upgraded to a university status, which according to him, included land mass, academic briefs of course programmes and course content as well as source of its resources.

Okafor noted that once the state government makes its pronouncement and the assembly commenced legislation of the enabling law, the NUC would come into it.

According to him, "the institution is waiting for another visit of the NUC in that regard."

The provost expressed happiness that graduates of the school, who could not secure appointments due to non-possession of NYSC discharge certificate, with the recent development their problems would become a thing of the past.
