The Edo State Police Command has announced the arrest of the suspected killer of a graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Glory Adekolure.
The victim was reported to have gone to school (UNIBEN) for her final clearance on June 13, 2024, but her remains were found under a tree on a street in the Iyowa Community of Benin City, the Edo State capital.

However, fifteen days after Miss Adekolure’s death, the Edo State Police Command said the suspect was apprehended in Delta State.

In an interview with Channels Television on Friday, the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, mentioned that the suspected murderer was nabbed in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

He mentioned that the suspect is yet to be paraded, adding that an investigation is still ongoing into the incident.

According to the CP, the suspect confessed to the killing of no fewer than seven other young women.

Just try aboki or Aba made watch, you will know the difference. The way those watch rust will give you BP. Some will fall off your wrist and you won't know until you get home.

Time is crap but a great watch will make it meaningful

Huh? We are talking here of an airport that is over 40 years in Ibadan and has in all of that time not shown any great prospect ooo! Why in the world would you choose to sink more seriously limited funds into it if it has yet to prove viable in over 4 decades when there are numerous other areas of development needed in the same state that have yet to be addressed? The area of water reclamation and treatment for example. The passenger rail system is another.

Though, you seem to want the best for the state but your priorities and that of those in government are different. Let them do what they feel is important and probably when your occupy same office (you will get there) you can fix the areas highlighted. Let the airport be upgraded, it's an embarrassment to the state

The fact the other ones are not infested with passengers because of lack economic activities in such state or region do not mean other ones with great prospect should not be upgraded. You will not tell me that Abuja, Lagos, port Harcourt and Kano airports don't enjoy traffic

So, someone will land in Ibadan then take the dangerous Lagos-Ibadan expressway back to Lagos? Which sane living in Lagos will go to Ibadan to board flights instead of using the one in Lagos? If Ibadan has the local economy to sustain flight operations, then why has the local airport remained unviable since?

It is foolishness to think that just renaming an airport to international will automatically make it viable. Sokoto and Maiduguiri are also international airports 😂😂😂
