Since the 1999, the only time Nigerians enjoyed electricity was during Obasanjo administration. Rain or not, there was constant electricity. I wonder why no government continued his NIPP project |

LegendHero: See Nigeria have always been poor. Most Nigerian family cannot afford 1 bag of rice right from time. How many families Dey buy bag of rice at once? No be derica we dey buy?
It will continue to be bad if we retain that useless subsidy. Ever since I was born, Nigeria have always been crying about poverty poverty poverty.
It will continue to be worse if we keep repeating same nonsense. We said Jonathan was worse; Buhari came, we said ahhh Buhari is worser o; now Tinubu came, we are saying Buhari is better.
Haven’t you seen the trajectory? Next president will be worse than Tinubu if Tinubu also continue that useless subsidy. At least during Tinubu, we know we are suffering in the interim coz of subsidy removal.
Everyday na rice rice rice like people possessed. Any small thing rice, maybe na why Tpain Dey share rice be that.
By the way, government need to allow food imports as a short term reprieve to the masses until we get the security and supply side right. that's the issue. Tinubu should open borders for importation. I dunno why he doesn't want to. This will reduce inflation on food items. |

Business › Re: Dangote’s Wealth Doubles To $28 Billion On ‘monster’ Nigeria Oil Project by Beremx(f): 1:47pm On Oct 17, 2024 |
LegendHero: Tinubu rid Nigeria of the useless subsidy that has kept Nigeria poor for the past 30 years. With the subsidy and socialist economy we have been running, has it made Nigeria and Nigerians rich? No.
Now Tinubu removing subsidy is taking a heavy toll on the poor as usual, but it is the immediate pain that needs to be felt.
I just want his government to ensure people don’t suffer this pain for nothing coz the fiscal side is still lacking a bit. But it is the best policy needed for Nigeria economic survival into the next decade. Askari Legendhero, bag of rice is 100k as we speak. Kindly confirm from your people in Nigeria if I'm lying. Nigerians haven't been this poor. It wasn't bad like this during Buhari's administration. Always get in touch with reality with your comments |

Shadomaan7: This na cheap publicity for Falana. The guy was just ranting on social media without any serious defamation.
The matter could have been settled out of court but Falana decided to grandstand.
The guy would be asked to pay 500k maximum and that's all.
The case fit enter world Guinness record for unnecessary case that's what you think. Femi Falana doesn't think so. You can't use your platform on social media to defame someone and think it will just fly. Shebi VDM has opened an NGO and his fans are donating money for him? Let him use the money to pay part of the 500million. Nonsense and stupidity |

Politics › Re: Minimum Money Given To School Children These Days By Parents by Beremx(f): 4:30pm On Oct 12, 2024 |
Jokerman: This still looks shocking to me.
Going out in the morning, and see a parent given his 3 children, 2000 Naira going to school today. This is shocking.
Coming up in the early 2000s, in secondary school, our money no pass 20/30 or 50 Naira .. if you get 100naira, you be big boy.
Imagine primary school pupils 1,000 per day... Omo na wa o parents should learn to cook and give their kids for school. It's cheaper that way. I cook enough stew to last for a week for rice and spaghetti. I buy two dozens each of biscuits and happy hour drink for my son to take to school. Before it finishes, I'll buy another dozens. I don't give my son money despite the fact he's always asking for it to buy something in school because he sees his peers doing it. That's how it should be |

If an Igbo man threatened to shoot down a military helicopter, Nigeria Army would have longed arrested him and send him to jail. But this is Asari Dokubo who publicly threatens a whole Nigeria Army and he hasn't been arrested.
Asari Dokubo is indeed greater than the Nigeria Army. |
