1). Your visuals (images and videos) : it is of no doubt that visuals add life to website making it more attractive and mature but if their too heavy in sizes they can slow down the speed at which your web page load.
2). When you're coding always try to load any library(jquery, bootstrap..) you want from CDN(content delivery network) instead of downloading them because many users already have downloaded them from MaxCDN when visiting another site.
