However, by creating regional development councils for each region and setting aside 15% of the Consolidated Revenue Fund as a source of funding for these commissions, President Bola Tinubu has effectively reformed Nigeria and brought back regionalism without militarism. These regional development commissions will eventually function like the regional governments of pre-1966 Nigeria, and Nigeria will ultimately return to her golden age of development.

However, many criticized this with no deep reasoning for such declaration and public enlightenment. Up until this moment, the Igbo nation has been the biggest beneficiary of the Unitary system of government and will forever reject a return to regional governance alongside total devolution of power. The agitation for Biafra is a complete distraction and propaganda by Igbo political actors and their propagandists in and outside Nigeria, deceiving the Yorùbá public with rhetoric that they are the economic backbone of Nigeria.

If Nigerian soldiers have resorted to creating social media content, we are doomed. When did they start doing this?
