Christianity EtcRe: Q&A: Can A God Who Kills Still Be Portrayed As Loving And Merciful? by BibleInterpreta(op):
JimRohn:
Thank you for sharing your interpretation. I appreciate the reflective tone in which you've approached these challenging scriptural passages. However, I must respectfully disagree with your framework of understanding, particularly the allegorical reinterpretation of historically violent commands as internal psychological processes.

As a Muslim, I believe in upholding the divine origin and coherence of revelation. While I agree that sacred texts contain layers of meaning—moral, spiritual, and metaphysical—this does not negate the historical reality or moral implications of the events they record. Recasting clear historical narratives involving war and destruction as entirely symbolic or internal struggles with the ego raises important theological concerns that deserve a closer, critical look... In contrast, the Qur’an repeatedly reminds humanity that divine speech is mubeen—clear, purposeful, and preserved. While metaphor exists in sacred language, it does not override the apparent meaning unless indicated by the text or prophetic explanation. We are encouraged to reflect deeply, but within the bounds of textual fidelity and divine justice.

In conclusion, while I commend your desire to extract spiritual meaning from Scripture, I cannot agree with a methodology that reduces clear commands and historical events to internal allegory—particularly when such events involve serious moral implications. True spirituality, in my understanding, involves both the purification of the inner self and the ethical integrity of how we interpret and apply divine revelation.

With respect and sincerity,

BibleInterpreta AntiChristian TenQ CreativeOrbit gofh
I respect your firm grounding in divine justice and ethical interpretation. From Bible interpretation (Internality of Bible) view, the Bible speaks in the language of branches, external stories that point to internal spiritual states. When it says to “destroy Amalek” or “wipe out Canaan,” it’s not a command to commit violence today, but an instruction to uproot egoistic desires within us that block connection to the Creator.
This isn’t a denial of history, but a shift in focus. Taking such verses literally today risks justifying cruelty. Their deeper intent is soul correction, not warfare.
Where Islam emphasizes the clarity and ethical boundaries of God’s commands, Bible emphasizes their symbolic depth and inner application. The essence of the inner correction is to bring humanity closer to divine unity.
Let’s preserve the sacred while preventing harm, by elevating our understanding, not weaponizing it.

AntiChristian:
So in essence no blood was shed by God in the Bible by those people?
Who is God?
Not a man in the sky issuing military orders. God the Creator is the quality of love (1 John 4:7-8,16); the force of nature, the system of bestowal and correction, a law like gravity, not a personality.

I would like to use modern global crises to explain:

❗Modern Conflicts: Israel-Gaza, Russia-Ukraine, Sudan, Congo, Nigeria, America’s internal divides…

People are killing each other in the name of land, religion, race, and power. Each side prays to God, quotes scripture, justifies violence.
So the question becomes:
Where is God in all of this? Is He again commanding people to kill?

And here’s the answer plain and direct:

✨ God doesn’t command anyone to kill today, just like He never did in the past. The wars in the Bible, like today’s wars, are mirrors of the ego running wild in the absence of spiritual development.

🧠 Modern Conflict Is the Externalization of Inner War

When you see Hamas and Israel, Russia and Ukraine, tribal wars in Africa, political polarization in America, these are not just political struggles. They are external expressions of something deeper: human egoism out of balance.
The same way Amalek, Midian, or Babylon represented forces in the soul that had to be overcome,
Today’s wars are humanity’s failure to “kill” those inner forces, and instead, we act them out in the world.

🔁 Repeating Biblical Patterns, Because We Didn’t Learn the Inner Meaning

• When nations bomb each other in the name of “God,” they misunderstand the Bible the same way primitive people did.
• When leaders speak of holy war, vengeance, or “purifying” the land, they echo the literal reading of Scripture, not its spiritual intent.
And what does that produce? Bloodshed. Ruin. Endless conflict.

🕊️ The Real “War” God Commands Today (and Always)

God’s only true war is against the ego, the force in us that separates, dominates, and hates others - In Bible context, this is the only enemy that needs to die.
• Not Arabs.
• Not Jews.
• Not Christians or atheists.
• Not Ukrainians, Russians, or Americans.
Just the egoistic intention to receive only for oneself at the expense of others.

✍️ How Does This Apply to Today?

Let’s walk through a few real examples with spiritual meaning:

1. Israel–Gaza War

This is a tragic explosion of the unresolved hatred between brothers (Ishmael and Isaac, Esau and Jacob). Spiritually, it’s not a war of weapons,it’s a war of disconnection. The real solution is not military victory, but a shift in intention, from “me vs. you” to mutual bestowal. Otherwise, the war repeats endlessly.

2. Russia–Ukraine

Two branches of the same root, fighting due to national ego and imperial memory. Spiritually, it reflects the failure to transcend separation and recognize a shared soul-root. The real battle is to rise above historical trauma and egoism.

3. Africa’s ethnic conflicts (e.g., Sudan, Nigeria)

Religious, ethnic, and tribal identities become tools for ego to justify violence. Bible teaches: when ego hijacks spiritual truth, it becomes deadly. The killing in the name of God is the clearest sign that people do not understand who God is.
4. America’s internal polarization

Liberal vs. conservative. Black vs. white. Rich vs. poor. This is not yet a war with bombs, but it is a civil war of egoistic intentions. The correction? Not to “win” politically, but to connect on the level of shared humanity, rising above identity-based ego.

🧩 Noteworthy

The Bible didn’t get outdated. We just never understood it.
• God never wanted blood, He wanted transformation.
• The “killings” were never literal, they were about killing separation, pride, hatred.
• Every modern war is a sign that we are reading the Bible with our eyes, not our hearts.

So what is God asking of us now?
✨ “Make peace within yourselves, between your ego and your desire to connect.
Kill the Amalek inside. Destroy the Pharaoh inside. Bring down the walls of Jericho in your own heart.
Then the world will know no war.”
Until then, we will keep shedding blood thinking God is involved, but He is only waiting for us to wake up.
Christianity EtcRe: Q&A: Can A God Who Kills Still Be Portrayed As Loving And Merciful? by BibleInterpreta(op): 11:08am On May 31, 2025
AntiChristian:
Here are ten instances where God commands people to be killed along with relevant verses, use them instead as na same same God dey old and new testament:
1. The Conquest of Canaan
Verse: Deuteronomy 7:2
Description: God commands the Israelites to destroy the nations in Canaan completely... 10. The Final Jihad (Armageddon)
Verse: Revelation 16:16
Description: In the prophetic vision, God commands the gathering of nations for the final battle, leading to widespread destruction.
My friend, you bring up these verses to highlight something very important, an inner contradiction that people often wrestle with when they approach the Bible literally. We are not to see these events as historical records of divine cruelty or favoritism. Rather, these stories are codes, symbols, internal processes within the soul of a person on the spiritual path. Each represents different degrees of the ego that we must correct with the right intention.
Let’s take a deeper look, beyond the literal surface. Yes, these verses talk about war, destruction, killing, even commanded by God.
But who is God? Not a man in the sky issuing military orders. God the Creator is the quality of love (1 John 4:7-8,16); the force of nature, the system of bestowal and correction, a law like gravity, not a personality.
Now let’s reframe the ten “killings” you mentioned. Each enemy, each nation, each war; these represent egoistic desires within the human being. These are the parts of ourselves that separate us from unity, love, and connection. When the Bible says “destroy the Amalekites” or “wipe out the Canaanites,” it is telling the inner Israel, the desire for spiritual connection, to overcome those aspects of the ego that resist transformation with the intention of love.
Let’s go through a few briefly from this perspective:

Our desire is always egoistic, it is the intention that must change.

1. Conquest of Canaan (Deuteronomy 7:2):

Canaan is the desire to receive for the self alone. “Utterly destroy them” means we must cleanse our intention, to transform egoistic desires into altruistic ones.

2. Amalekites (1 Samuel 15:3):

Amalek represents doubt and spiritual sabotage. Not a people, but a force that attacks the desire to rise spiritually. It must be “utterly destroyed” i.e., to be corrected with the right intention, because even a small remnant corrupts the soul’s ascent.

3. Midianites (Numbers 31:17-18):

Midian symbolizes corrupted connections, false unity driven by lust or manipulation. The battle is within: purifying connection from ulterior egoistic motives.

4. Jericho (Joshua 6:21):

The walls of Jericho represent pride and egoism. Blowing the shofar (spiritual awakening) collapses this illusion, and all within must be renewed, hence, “destroyed” (meaning corrected).
5. Ai (Joshua 8:24-26):

Ai shows us that some aspects of ego require patience and strategy to overcome. Once exposed, the ego must be dealt with completely.

6. Philistines (1 Chronicles 14:10):

Philistines represent actions with egoistic intention. “Attack them” means we must go beyond rote behavior to inner transformation.

7. Siege of Jerusalem (2 Kings 25:9):

Jerusalem represents love and unity. Its destruction here symbolizes how far we fall when ego rules. But from ruins, we rebuild, on higher spiritual ground.

8. Assyrian Conquest (Isaiah 10:5-6):

Assyria is the tool of the Creator, used to awaken Israel (the inner desire for spirituality) through suffering, pushing it to correct itself.

9. Fall of Babylon (Jeremiah 51:20-24):

Babylon is the tower of confusion, human egoistic pride in separation. God’s destruction of Babylon is the fall of false unity and birth of true connection.

10. Armageddon (Revelation 16:16):

The final war is not external but within. All desires clash, those aligned with self vs. those aligned with God’s quality of love and unity. Only when this war is resolved do we reach the end of correction (Gmar Tikkun).

So yes, same God in Old and New Testament. But same law, same force guiding us toward unity and love. The difference is not in God, it is in our perception. As we rise spiritually, these “wars” are understood not as bloodshed, but as inner transformations, the correction of egoistic forces within us.
The Bible speaks in the language of man, but points to the language of the soul.
If you take it literally, you see cruelty. If you rise above ego, you see correction. That’s the choice every human must make.

Christianity EtcQ&A: Can A God Who Kills Still Be Portrayed As Loving And Merciful? by BibleInterpreta(op): 5:54pm On May 30, 2025
Q&A:

Question:

How do we reconcile depictions of God executing very harsh judgment with the biblical portrayal of God as loving and merciful?

Answer:

This parable from Luke 19:11-27, like many of the teachings in the New Testament, should be understood not as a historical or moral instruction in the simple sense, but as a spiritual reality; a parable describing the internal states of a person on the path toward spiritual correction, and the collective process of humanity reaching alignment with the Creator.
Let us examine the deeper meaning.

“A man of noble birth went to a distant country...”

This “man” represents the Upper Force, the quality of bestowal, the Creator Himself. The “distant country” is our world, the world of concealment, distance, and egoism. When the Creator “goes away,” it means that the attribute of bestowal becomes hidden from our perception. The human being, having lost the feeling of the Creator, is given free will: how will he act without direct perception of the King?

“He gave ten of his servants ten minas… ‘Put this money to work until I come back.’”

The “minas” are not literal coins, but spiritual potentials, desires given to each person. This means our Reshimot, the spiritual genes or informational records that descend into us from the spiritual root. These are the capacities for spiritual work, each soul receives a specific portion. The command is clear: use what you are given to grow in spiritual similarity to the Creator; bestowal, love, connection.

“But his subjects hated him… ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’”

This is the egoistic force in us, the inner resistance. The will to receive for itself alone cannot accept the rule of bestowal. The Creator appears as harsh, demanding, even cruel to the ego, because He demands transformation, not comfort, but correction.

“Then he returned… and asked what they had gained.”

The return of the king represents the moment of spiritual reckoning, a person is brought to inner accounting: what did you do with what was given to you? Did you build unity with others, did you reveal the quality of bestowal in your life, did you elevate from egoism to love?

The Rewards: “Take charge of ten cities… five cities…”

These “cities” are not geographical. They are spiritual attainments, levels of equivalence with the Creator. One who multiplied his mina tenfold reached a higher degree of correction, he is ascending through the 125 degrees of spiritual attainment.

The Lazy Servant: “I hid your mina… I was afraid…”

Here we see the state of spiritual stagnation, a soul that does not engage in the work of transformation. This servant represents the person who says: “It’s enough for me to believe. I won’t risk, I won’t change, I will just stay safe.” But spirituality demands action, effort, and overcoming. This person failed to turn the will to receive into will to bestow. Therefore, he forfeits even the little potential he had to ascend spiritually.

The Harsh Sentence: “Take away his mina… To everyone who has, more will be given…”

This is a deep spiritual law: the more a person uses his inner spiritual sparks, the more he is given. Why? Because the Light (spiritual fulfillment) can only dwell in vessels that are corrected. If there is no effort, no yearning, no preparation, the Light departs. Not as punishment, but because there is no vessel to hold it.

“But those enemies of mine… bring them and kill them before me.”

This final line is the most shocking, unless you understand the spiritual metaphor. The “enemies” are not external people, but inner forces. They are the egoistic desires that refuse correction, that deny the sovereignty of bestowal. To “kill them” means to annul them, to elevate above these desires through the light of the Creator. It is the ultimate internal war.

Noteworthy:

This parable is not about power, money, or tyranny. It is a call to spiritual work. The Creator gives us potential, “minas.” If we use them for connection, love, and bestowal, we grow and ascend spiritually. If we hide them, fearing effort, we lose the connection altogether. And our inner egoistic “subjects,” those that resist unity, must be nullified on the spiritual path.
All of this is happening within us. The only true king is the force of love and unity. The only true enemy is the ego that separates us. The only true wealth is the Light of the Creator, which shines when we rise above ourselves and become like Him.
Let us “invest our minas” wisely.

As we know, Abraham created a group of 70 nations assembled on an ideological basis in Ancient Babylon, and they became the people of Israel. And then all of the 70 nations of the world began to fight against the people of Israel. It turns out, that “the people of Israel” means intentions and the “70 nations” means desires.
And since the Creator Himself is the property of bestowal and love, then, in principle, this property wins.
There are 70 desires that must unite with each other with the intention “straight to the Creator.
Every desire of the nations of the world will be given the correct intention for the sake of bestowal.
In no way does it imply here that someone is destroying someone else. It is just that these 70 desires that exist in every person and in general in all of humanity have an egoistic intention to act only for their own sake.
And Israel is the force that is able to show, convince, prove, and lead all these desires to gaining intention for the sake of bestowal, to mutual bestowal and love. And then all these so-called 70 nations of the world, i.e., all the desires that are in every person, are directed to the Creator.

Q&A

Question:

What is the spiritual meaning of the war of Armageddon (Gog & Magog)?

Answer:

Gog & Magog amount to 70, representing the 70 nations of the world.
Armageddon (Gog & Magog) is designed to last till the end of the 6,000 years for the correction of humanity.
The final battle will be at the end of the 6,000 years known as the final correction.
Ezekiel 38 & 39; Revelation 15 & 16.

We know that all the original biblical sources written thousands of years ago spoke not about corporeal events, but about spiritual ones.
In addition, Gog and Magog are not two different characters, since Gog is the king and Magog is the place he came from.
The struggle between Good inclination & Evil inclination is called “The War of Gog and Magog.”
It unfolds within our desires (Egoistic intention vs Intention to bestow) & its consequences determine the fate of the entire world. If we are triumphant, we will spare ourselves the horrifying depictions of the war of Gog and Magog as an apocalyptic global war.

The War of Gog and Magog is a prediction written by the prophet Ezekiel in the 5th century BC 2,500 years ago. But the events that are described in the Book of Ezekiel in The Prophets and the signs that are mentioned there point to our time.
The war of Gog and Magog is actually an internal war, occurring within individuals from Israel (i.e. people in whom the desire for spirituality has awoken; who have an inclination to question the meaning of life and discover the altruistic desire above the inborn egoistic desire).
It is not a physical war with planes and missiles, as is often thought.
The planes and the missiles are not the real war; they are merely a physical manifestation of accumulated imbalance within the desire.

The war of Gog & Magog is The Opposition of the two Properties of Nature.
The fact is that our entire world is going through a series of corrections design to last for 6,000 years, which consist in the opposition of the desire to receive and the desire to bestow, egoistic and altruistic forces, negative & positive.
All of nature at the inanimate, vegetative, animate & human levels consists of good & evil inclinations. There are interactions of good and evil inclinations at all degrees of human desires.
The war of Gog and Magog is a spiritual concept that relates to Internality Of Bible.
Gog and Magog happens at a spiritual degree and not as it does in our world, where the wars and torments happen before our eyes.

Israel (desire to bestow) in exile under the governance of desire to receive.
The war of Armageddon (Gog & Magog is already taking place inside our desires.
The mother of all wars is when the spiritual force of love & bestowal will prevail over impure egoistic forces at the end of the 6,000 years (Final correction) & the reign of Messiah King Redeemer.

The internality of the Nations of the World, the Righteous of the nations of the world will overpower and subdue their externality, which are the destructors.
And the internality of the world, too, which are Israel (not a geographical location but people in whom the desire for spirituality has awoken), shall rise in all their merit and virtue over the externality of the world, which are the nations. Then, all the Nations of the World will recognize and acknowledge Messiah King Redeemer.
Then, this corporeal world will cease to exist as we know it.

And right on cue, the classic Christian ritual chant of vague, self important fluff, dressed up as depth once the circus tent collapses, u guys sure love ur fluff. No evidence, no objectivity, just the usual empty mantras and typical baseless claims. A flawless textbook demonstration of exactly what I called out. 👏 Welldone.
I am not giving you riddles, I am handing you the entrance to a method that will train your perception to see the universal laws governing soul, society, and creation itself.

In science, we don’t ask the microscope to explain itself, we learn to use it. You are not asked to believe. You are asked to apply the method and measure the result:
Do you experience increased connection, clarity, inner cohesion, perception of the universal system?
If yes, continue.
If no, discard it
.

That is the only honest methodology, and it is what the bible meant by 'Taste and see that the Creator is good,' not believe, but taste. Experience. Test.

Objectivity Itself Evolves

Your demand for ‘objective evidence’ ignores the fact that objectivity itself is a construct of the observer’s development - Einstein

You are in the dream. I’m showing you the method to wake up, not to argue inside the dream.

The ‘testable claim’ you seek is you yourself. The method develops a person’s ability to perceive the higher forces that operate desire, not philosophically, but in a repeatable, observable way within the person’s corrected vessels of perception. That is the methodology. It is ancient (since 5,785 years ago), tested, documented, and reproducible, but it requires using you egoistic desire with the intention to bestow toward people, just as a microscope requires calibration before it reveals microorganisms
.

Noteworthy

You are not wrong to ask for evidence.

You are wrong to assume evidence is only what your current perception can grasp.

I offer a reproducible methodology to expand perception.

If you apply it, the evidence will emerge within you - not as belief, but as transformation.

Don’t believe me, try it. If it’s false, you’ll know. If it’s true, you’ll know even more.

There’s nothing to “grasp” because the statement makes no actual sense especially in relation to Einstein, whose theory you still haven’t demonstrated relates to your gish gallop. Einstein's theory we know, what it objectively means we know, how it relates to objective reality we know, it's relationship to your subjective gish gallop we don't know.

And this so called “biblical methodology” you keep name dropping collapses under its own contradiction: you claim objectivity, yet everything you say basically boils down to vague, subjective interpretation wrapped in pseudo-philosophical fluff.

Last I checked, I asked for evidence, not riddles. Tossing out questions like that somehow goes anywhere, when it’s just a distraction from the fact that you can’t demonstrate a single testable claim and would rather strawman and lie. So spare me the mystical quizzes and just do what you’ve consistently avoided:

Show me the Objective evidence/methodology. Quite simple really but we both no you can't.
Instead of repeating accusations, perform the inner experiment. Use your egoistic desire with the right intention of love toward people. Do it consistently. The changes in your perception, your inner reactions, will be your data points.

Christianity EtcQ&A: Who Is An “idol Worshiper? by BibleInterpreta(op): 6:40pm On May 24, 2025
“You Shall Not Make For Yourself An Idol” Deut 5:8

Q&A

Question:

Who is an “idol worshiper?”

Answer:

You are!
Without even realizing it, you make idols every minute out of thin air.

God the Creator,” is the quality of complete, unconditional love and bestowal - 1 John 4:7-8,16
He is devoid of any corporeal depiction of image, or volume.

Idol Worship is to depict God the Creator with corporeal forms of image, volume or mass other than as the quality of love & bestowal, as it is written in Deut 5:8 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

The Creator created the creature who is destined to reach the ultimate goodness — acquiring the godly, eternal quality of absolute love and bestowal.

If you don’t connect everything that happens to you with One force, called “The One, Unique, and Indivisible (None else beside Him - Isaiah 45:6-7);”
if you don’t always attribute everything to one cause and consider everything else besides it just a manifestation of that One force, then you are engaged in idol worshiping.

For example, your wife says something unpleasant to you. You have to realize that this came from the Creator and she is just a puppet demonstrating the Creator’s attitude toward you in this manner.
If, on the contrary, you relate everything to her, then you are “making an idol.” You have to relate to the Creator through her rather than relating this to her.
There have to be two components here.

We should understand that the director of this play is the Creator, and He presents Himself to us in this manner deliberately so we would unify all the different and opposite manifestations of Him into one form and one Source: the Creator.
However, this is only possible under the condition that you use the whole world in order to connect it in your perception into one, and to tie it to one Source.

Without man’s inner correction, which will lead him to the level of connection with the upper force of nature, everything else is essentially “idol worship!”
After all, I don’t want to change myself, but some external force, so it would become more gracious toward me.

What is this "God" that can be changed through prayer and fasting?
What kind of “almighty” is he if his kind attitude could be bought with “cash”?
That is how low humanity’s current level is.

Ah, the classic bait and switch: I ask for evidence, and you supply crappy metaphors. I point out contradictions, and suddenly like magic it’s all symbolic 😅. I call out pseudo-science, and now the Bible’s apparently been doing quantum mechanics since Genesis. Incredible!

You’ve done exactly what I predicted, that you’d 1. strawman the point, 2. defend a baseless claim with an even more ridiculous one, and veer into abstract rambling like a native doctor meandering for time. You basically offered mystical dodge wrapped in absolute jargon. The only outcome you didn’t hit was walking away, honestly it would've have been better that whatever this is.

I quite obviously did not “deride Einstein’s theory”, I derided your laughable misuse of it. You slapped his name onto a vague spiritual, pseudo - philosophical nonsense and tried to pass it off as depth which again is laughable. That’s not physics, it’s outright fiction, fiction which you obviously can't demonstrate ergo had to strawman.

Quoting relativity to justify metaphysical ego gymnastics is like using quantum mechanics to validate horoscopes. It’s like slapping a nafdac no on agbo jedi jedi and calling it pharmaceutically tested and approved...
1. On the Ease of Making Claims vs. Demonstrating Them
"Lol making claims is quite easy, anyone can say any crap..."

Yes, anyone can make claims, we live in a world filled with voices, opinions, and egoistic noise. But bible Interpretation is not about claiming or debating for intellectual sport. It is about personal transformation and attainment. Demonstration, in our method, means internal experience through corrected perception, not performance for entertainment.

2. On the Einstein Theory of Relativity Being "Rubbish"
"...your Einstein theory of relativity, its nonsense..."

Whether you accept it or not, Einstein’s theory, like quantum mechanics, shattered the illusion of a deterministic, mechanical universe. It introduced relativity, uncertainty, and the impact of the observer. These are all ideas bible Interpretation has addressed for millennia; that the observer’s degree of qualitative development defines the reality he perceives. Science is slowly approaching this: reality is subjective, and rooted in perception.

You dismiss relativity as “nonsense” and challenge me to demonstrate it. Einstein’s theory (special and general relativity) is a cornerstone of modern physics, experimentally validated through:
• GPS Systems: Clocks on satellites tick slightly faster than on Earth due to weaker gravity, as predicted by general relativity.
• Gravitational Lensing: Light from distant stars bends around massive objects like the sun, observed during solar eclipses (e.g., Eddington’s 1919 experiment).
• Time Dilation: Particle accelerators show that fast-moving particles (e.g., muons) decay more slowly, aligning with special relativity’s predictions.
I can’t personally replicate these experiments in a conversation, but they’re well-documented in peer-reviewed literature. If you reject relativity outright, could you clarify which aspect you find implausible?

3. On the Alleged Contradiction Between the Bible and Science
"...no contradiction between the bible and scientific accounts..."

There is no contradiction because the bible speaks in the language of the branches, not physical history. The Bible is not a science textbook. It is encoded in the language of the branches, describing spiritual states. Science studies the material branch, while bible decodes the spiritual root. Without this lens, yes, the stories seem mythological. But through attaining appropriate perception, they are deep spiritual truths.

4. On the “Sun Standing Still”
"...how did the sun stand still... demonstrate how..."

When the Book of Joshua says the sun stood still, it's not discussing astrophysics. The “sun” in bible symbolizes the ego’s governing force or illumination. “Standing still” represents a halting of spiritual concealment — allowing for inner work of correction of the ego to take place. This event occurred not in the sky, but in the inner world of the soul. You cannot “demonstrate” that with corporeal instruments, only attain it within through spiritual development.

5. On Objectivity and the “Three Outcomes”
"...there's 3 outcomes as regards your response..."

You're expecting a response that fits one of your predetermined categories: dodge, faith-talk, or pseudo-science. I offer none. I invite experience, the only honest test. bible Interpretation is not a belief system. It’s a methodology. If you want objectivity, don’t rely on baseless argument. Use the tools of using your ego with the intention of love. Walk the path (guided by a Teacher). Then you will not need to believe me or mock me. You’ll see it yourself, as all true Saints have done.

Noteworthy

Mockery is easy. Sincere inquiry is difficult. But I understand your frustration. I am a rational scientist, seeking proof. Bible Interpretation does not demand belief, it offers a way to transform your perception of reality, and that is the only true demonstration that matters.
If you're ever ready, the door is open.

This emphasizes the spiritual transformation at the core of Isaiah 58, aligning fasting with the biblical call to love, unity, and divine connection.

In a world echoing with over 40,000 denominations and doctrines, the religious church system has become a fractured mirror, reflecting confusion instead of clarity, division instead of unity. The spiritual system meant to bind humanity together in love has splintered into competing creeds, rituals, and hierarchies. This disunity betrays the very essence of the divine message of the bible.

Isaiah 58 pierces through the noise, not with another doctrine, but with a call to inner transformation. It confronts the hollow rituals, exposes the ego cloaked in piety, and redirects the seeker toward a higher truth: spiritual unity through love, humility, and intention. True fasting, it tells us, is not about outward performance but about the inward correction that restores the soul, and the world.

The Essence of True Fasting

Isaiah 58 defines fasting beyond physical abstinence or ritualistic displays. The people complain that their fasting goes unnoticed by the Creator (verse 3), but their fasts are flawed—marked by egoism, strife, and superficial piety (verses 3-4). True fasting, as the Creator desires, is not about denying the body but about transforming the soul. It is a spiritual practice aimed at correcting inner intentions, shifting from self-centeredness to a state of bestowal and connection.

Breaking the Chains of Egoism

Verses 6-7 outline the Creator’s chosen fast: to “loose the bands of wickedness,” “undo the heavy burdens,” and “let the oppressed go free.” Spiritually, this refers to breaking the chains of egoistic desires that separate us from the Creator and others. Egoism is the root of all disconnection; overcoming it involves redirecting our intentions toward bestowal and unity. This inner correction liberates both the individual and others from the burdens of self-interest, fostering mutual care and responsibility.

Acts of Bestowal and Unity

The call to share bread with the hungry, clothe the naked, and not hide from “thine own flesh” (verse 7) symbolizes acts of selfless bestowal and heart-to-heart connection. These actions reflect the biblical principle of “love your neighbor as yourself,” the foundation of spiritual life. Humanity is one collective soul, and by giving to others with pure intention, we strengthen this unity, creating a vessel for divine light to flow into the world.

The Spiritual Rewards of True Fasting

When we align our intentions with bestowal, we invite the Creator’s light into our lives (verse cool. This light manifests as spiritual awakening (“thy light break forth as the morning”), inner healing, and divine guidance (verses 8-11). The imagery of a “watered garden” and a “spring of water” (verse 11) represents a soul filled with the Creator’s Light of Mercy, overflowing with love in the intention toward others. This state reflects the spiritual purpose of fasting: to become a channel for divine light.

The Sabbath as Spiritual Elevation

Verses 13-14 extend the principle of true fasting to the Sabbath, a state of spiritual alignment where one refrains from egoistic pursuits (“doing thine own ways”). The Sabbath symbolizes a soul fully corrected, delighting in unity with the Creator and others. By aligning with the Creator’s will, we receive the spiritual inheritance promised—a state of joy, connection, and divine presence.

Restoring the Collective Soul

Isaiah 58 ultimately teaches that true fasting is the correction of the heart, moving from egoism to bestowal, from separation to unity. By living this way, we fulfill the spiritual purpose of life: to connect with others in mutual love in the intention, revealing the Creator’s presence within us. This makes us “the repairer of the breach” (verse 12), restoring the collective soul and building a world of harmony.

Q&A

Question

I've fasted for 100 days this year, just like I’ve done every year, but I still feel spiritually empty, unchanged, disconnected. If fasting is supposed to elevate me, why do I feel no closer to truth, purpose, or the Creator? Is it possible that fasting will never help me improve my spiritual state?

Answer

Remember: The entire bible is about the constant battle everyone goes through in order to rise above the human egoistic nature, and attain the Creator's quality of love (bestowal). To understand the bible correctly, remember the following:👇

The human egoistic nature is designed from creation in such a unique way that one can never find true satisfaction or fulfillment in life until attaining the spiritual degree of love and bestowal in the intention.

Degrees of Desire

There are four degrees to the egoistic desires to receive. These four are the degrees of religion:

i) Inanimate Degree: Physical desires for food, sex, procreation and shelter;

Ii) Vegetative Degree: Desire for money;

iii) Animate Degree: Desire for Control (power), honor, and fame.

iv) Speaking Degree: Desire for Knowledge.

_______________When one crosses the Psychological barrier of egoistic self-interest________________👇

v. Spiritual degree: When you attain the intention of love/bestowal towards people. This transcends the egoistic degrees of desire. This degree transcends religion.

Bible interpretation explores dimensions beyond traditional religious practices. Fasting, a common discipline in the religious church system and its over 40,000 denominations and doctrines is approached with specific contexts and meanings in this framework.

General Perspective on Fasting

Fasting will never help you improve yourself or become spiritual. It will only make you think of your 'spirituality,' nurture your pride, vanity, and make you demand egoistic reward from the Creator.
To improve your spiritual state, it is most beneficial to eat right, maintaining physical health, focus on studying biblical texts (bible interpretation) and learn how to use your egoistic desire with the right intention to bestow. Fasting by abstaining from food or water does not inherently improve one's spiritual state and may foster vanity or a desire for egoistic reward rather than genuine spiritual progress.

Matthew 4

Approaching the passage from Matthew 4 through the lens of Bible Interpretation, focusing on its inner, spiritual meaning rather than a literal or historical. The narrative of Christ’s temptation in the wilderness represents the internal struggle of a person striving to attain spiritual elevation and connection with the Creator. Let’s break it down:

Fasting for Forty Days and Nights (Verses 1-2):

Fasting symbolizes the restriction of egoistic desires, the conscious effort to detach from the pursuit of corporeal pleasures in order to focus on spiritual growth. The number forty is significant—it represents a complete cycle of transformation, as seen in the forty years of Israel’s wandering or the forty days of Moses on Mount Sinai. Christ’s fasting reflects the process of subduing the ego, the "desire to receive for oneself," to prepare for a higher spiritual revelation. Hunger afterward signifies the emergence of a new, refined desire—a yearning for connection with the Creator rather than material sustenance.

The First Temptation (Verses 3-4):

The devil’s challenge to turn stones into bread represents the ego’s attempt to pull a person back into material concerns, offering immediate gratification. Christ’s response, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God,” reflects a spiritual principle: true sustenance comes from aligning with the Creator’s quality of love in one's intention, the spiritual "light" that fulfills the soul. Bread in this context symbolizes the egoistic desire for self-gratification, while the "word of God" represents the force of bestowal, the quality of love that connects us to the divine.

The Second Temptation (Verses 5-7):

The devil taking Christ to the pinnacle of the temple and urging him to cast himself down symbolizes the temptation of spiritual pride. This is the ego’s subtle attempt to use spiritual attainment for self-glorification. Christ’s reply, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God,” underscores the principle of faith above reason. Spiritual attainment requires divine assistant and not by natural talent or ability.

The Third Temptation (Verses 8-10):

The offer of “all the kingdoms of the world” represents the ultimate egoistic lure: power, control, and worldly glory. This is the temptation to prioritize the "desire to receive" over the "desire to bestow." Christ’s rejection, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve,” reflects the core of spiritual work: to dedicate all actions and intentions to the Creator, aligning with the quality of pure bestowal and love for others, which is the essence of divinity.

The Departure of the Devil and Ministry of Angels (Verse 11):

The devil’s departure signifies the overcoming of egoistic desires through spiritual effort. The angels ministering to Christ symbolize the influx of spiritual light and strength that comes when one attains equivalence of form with the Creator’s quality of love. This represents the attainment of a higher degree of equivalence of form with the Creator, where one’s corrected desires allow divine light to flow through them, bringing inner peace and connection.

Overall Bible Interpretation:

This passage illustrates the spiritual path of correcting one’s egoistic nature. The wilderness is like a spiritual environment where one confronts their uncorrected desires through self annulment to the study, friends, teacher, and the Creator. The devil represents the ego, which tempts with materialism, pride, and power. Christ’s responses model the spiritual principle of rising above egoism by adhering to the Creator’s qualities of bestowal and love in the intention. Each temptation is an opportunity to refine one’s egoistic desire with the intention of love and bestowal, moving from self-centeredness to unity with the divine purpose.
The purpose of life is to achieve Dvekut (adhesion) with the Creator by transforming our nature from receiving to bestowing. The story is not about a historical event but a universal blueprint for spiritual ascent, relevant to anyone seeking to transcend their ego and connect with the eternal.

OP, are you one of those who believe that biblical events are allegorical and not literal?
The entire Bible is divided into the following:
1. Pshat (simple interpretation (highest degree of Light));
2. Remez (allusion or hint);
3. Drush (allegory);
4. Sod (secret (Lowest Degree Of Light).
These are not just the 4 parts of the Bible, but rather the four ways of explaining the methodology of correction of the ego in this world.

However, in this world, these steps are turned upside down:

When one reads the text of the Bible in the language of the branches and understand it as history of nations, people or moral codes, it is called “a mystery (secret).”

However, the thing is that we don’t understand what’s written in the Bible at all.

Sod (secret) is when this method of correction is hidden from us behind many layers & clothe in names, history & moral codes.

Secret—this is exactly what people are used to - Language of the branches, whereas, the Bible only speaks of the ways of correction, spiritual levels, and stages of the elevation of a human being.

However, the highest degree of Spiritual Light is enclosed in the simple explanation” called Bible Interpretation or (the Internality of Bible where everything is open to man and can be easily explained in a plain form devoid of any clothing or layers of concealment.

Thus, the simple explanation of the Bible describes a desire that is egoistic by nature and thus has to be corrected.
For that, we need the Light that Reforms.

Moreover, bringing the egoistic desire to the right intention (bestowing) is called “correction;” to achieve it, we need a teacher of the Bible Interpretation (Internality of Bible), we have to participate in a group, unite with friends, and continue our Bible Interpretation study (Internality of Bible) in order to attain the progressive correction of the ego by the reforming Light.

In spite of the OP's valiant attempts to reconcile the false biblical narrative with science, the sun never stood still at any time.
Typical religious nonsense.
Sun and Moon Stand Still

• Literal Context: Joshua commands the Sun and Moon to "stand still" (Joshua 10:12-13), and they remain stationary until Israel defeats its enemies, extending the day.

• Bible Interpretation: When the Book of Joshua says the sun stood still, it's not discussing astrophysics. The “sun” in bible symbolizes the ego’s governing force or illumination. “Standing still” represents divine assistance, leading to a halting of spiritual concealment, allowing for inner work of correction of the ego to take place. This event occurred not in the sky, but in the inner world of the soul. You cannot “demonstrate” that with corporeal instruments, only attain it within through spiritual development.

Time is an inner perception of the soul’s progression toward correction. The "standing still" of the Sun (Hesed) and Moon (Malchut) represents a moment where the soul transcends its usual cycles of spiritual ascent and descent (day and night), as time doesn’t exist in the spiritual realm. This is a state of perfect alignment with the Creator, where the ego is corrected with the intention to bestow, and the soul experiences a state of divine connection, allowing it to overcome its inner "enemies" (egoistic inclinations).

• Miracles: Symbolize the soul’s ability to rise above its natural limitations through divine intervention, transcending the egoistic limitations of time, space, and motion to achieve a higher spiritual attainment.

Q: Who is God the Creator?

A: God the Creator is the quality of love (bestowal) - 1 John 4:7-8,16

Additionally, when we say love in bible interpretation, we refer to the intention, and not just the action.
The action of love that is lacking in the intention of love is hypocrisy.
When you are able to attain the intention of love and bestowal towards people, you are able to exist in the spiritual. That is what it means to be in the spirit.
