Sergio Romero has reportedly completed a transfer to Manchester United after agreeing a three-year deal with the club.
The Red Devils were believed to be in pole position to secure the keeper’s signature after he was released from Italian outfit Sampdoria.
And now, according to La Gazzetta della Sport, United have signed the Argentina international after a three-year contract worth £1.2million a season was agreed between the two parties.
It is believed that the move will trigger Victor Valdes’ departure from Old Trafford.
Valdes, 33, only signed a United contract in January but has fallen out of favour with Louis van Gaal and looks set to leave this summer, with MLS club Seattle Sounders allegedly interested.
