floss: The way you feel when you buy a car that’s tear rubber is different from how you feel when you buy a car around ladipo that have a jerrycan on top. The feelings are far far different, a man can happily drive a car he got tear rubber for 10 years and still place high value on the car because he met it a virgin, compared to the car that have undergone all forms of servicing in the hands of my fellow men AKA Mechanics
So a lady (car) if you must deprive men (mechanics) from servicing you and changing oil and brake pads, make sure you’re tear rubber (virgin) and not deceitful wannabes I can't agree less with your highlight. |

At least 40% of the available land in South East have been acquired by their billionaires with no intentions of using it for anything but to add to family glory while some families are not even interested in selling their lands.
Only skyscraper buildings would save South East real estate in the future It isn't a news truly. |

Edygrin: Tinubu should ask for his repatriation so that he can come and spend sometime with his mentor Nnamdi Kanu.
Igbo people were known as warriors who feared nothing even death, but these days a small boy will just sit behind a computer or smartphone in his house and start shouting "BIAFRA", "Nigeria is a zoo", etc. before you know it, igbos will then start donating thousands to them.
Instead of them using the donated funds to better the lives of their people they end up buying guns for illiterates who end up killing the relatives of those that donated the money and some people will be online supporting them.
How will killing your people and burning institutions give you Biafra?
How can people even support this rubbish, the SE used to be one of the safest regions is this country but look at what is happening now, kidnappings and killings everywhere. People are even afraid to return home for traditional marriages or Burials. You can say that again |
Politics › Re: Senate Removes Danladi Umar As CCT Chairman by Bimpe29(m): 11:36am On Nov 21, 2024 |
Danladi is a case study for all of us. He is young, opportuned and powerful.
Largely, he abused his youthful energy, mismanaged his powerful position and didn't appreciate the rare opportunity he had. He was used to persecute the perceived enemies of the States, particularly the ousted CJN-Samuel Onoghen.
Clearly, karma caught up with him as he was paid in due coin by the reigning powerful people.
Lesson: Always be appreciative of your blessings and opportunities. Never be used to destroy others. |

Politics › Re: Okpebholo Signs ₦486 Billion Supplementary Appropriation Bill Into Law by Bimpe29(m): 11:21am On Nov 19, 2024 |
Richtaiwo: My understanding of "supplementary" is a special consideration for cases that weren't captured in earlier deliberations. I stand to be corrected though.
If this my understanding is correct, then I want to ask, is the gov now saying N485.63 billion is required for the remaining one and a half months before 2025 when another budget will be presented again? What is the earlier signed budget for the 2024 fiscal year that N485.63 billion is now required to address the deficit? Exactly the curiosity of many of us. We are keenly watching. |
