The Supreme Court rejected Trump’s suit again in Texas due to lack of standing. The lawsuit, which was brought by Texas and joined by other Republican-led states, sought to have the election results overturned in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. The court said that Texas lacked the standing to bring the case.

Trump has since taken to Twitter to express his opinions. In multiple tweets, he said

The Supreme Court really let us down. No Wisdom, No Courage!

Don’t the voters have to know what the Federal prosecutor’s know. The establishment failed us. The media, congressional leaders, the Democrat Party? No wonder 74 (a pres. record) million Americans voted for Donald Trump, & they still don’t believe the outcome of this election. The American people deserve answers, better late than never.

He also tweeted

So, you’re the President of the United States, and you just went through an election where you got more votes than any sitting President in history, by far – and purportedly lost. You can’t get “standing” before the Supreme Court, so you “intervene” with wonderful states .that, after careful study and consideration, think you got “screwed”, something which will hurt them also. Many others likewise join the suit but, within a flash, it is thrown out and gone, without even looking at the many reasons it was brought. A Rigged Election, fight on!

He said no court has judged his case on merit

We’ve not gotten any court to judge this (the vote) on its merit. It is a legal disgrace, an embarrassment to the USA.

An Austrian village will be changing it’s name from “Fucking”, a name it’s been bearing since the 11th century, before the word has other meanings, to “Fugging”.

The new name will take effect from January 2021. The village finally got tired of English speakers mocking the name and ridiculing their signposts, especially on social media.

More English speakers have deliberately toured the village, only to snap pictures of themselves by the signpost at the entrance of the village, sometimes posing sexually to match the name of the village.

Some have reportedly even stolen the signposts, prompting the local authorities to use theft-resistant concrete when putting up replacements.

Andrea Holzner, the mayor of Tarsdorf, the municipality to which the village belongs has confirmed the name change, saying

I can confirm that the village is being renamed, I really don’t want to say anything more … we’ve had enough media frenzy about this in the past

According to the Austrian daily Die Presse, the villagers, known as Fuckingers, “have had enough of visitors and their bad jokes.”

But tourists obviously are not happy about the impending change. Many have commented saying

They’re getting free publicity…they ought to have been happy to have a funny name.

The village was known to be inhabited around 1070, but local lore suggests that a sixth century Bavarian nobleman called Focko actually founded the settlement. A map dating from 1825 used the spelling Fuking.

All newly-admitted students for the 2019/2020 academic session of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti are to resume school for academic activities on Monday, 23rd November 2020.

The Directorate of Information, Mr Bode Olofinmuagun, said the resumption includs pre-degree, diploma and 100 level students of the university.

He said

The students are expected complete their registration exercise and resume for other academic activities.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun, has assured parents, guardians and all the returning students of adequate COVID-19 precautions and protocols which have been put in place by the university management.
