I looooved that first episode. It didn't go the normal telenovela route. Full of unexpected drama. The stolen child story is so telenovela though. And being saved from death by Pablo.

Ehn ehn did anyone else notice that Rodrigo's brother's ( chai! I don forget the name's ) girlfriend/ wife is also Yesi (Madam wrestler/ twins sister) in "if I were you" , and that Maria's daughter is Angela's daughter in fearless heart. I can't forget that endless mass of curls and her smile.

I must admit that i wasn't really into it at first,maybe because of PART OF ME.....
But when i did from where i started,to the end....It was breathless.....

Top Top professional performances from some notable and famous Telemundo characters esp Gabriel Porras aka carlos and Luis Ernesto Franco aka El faier...
Their Unforgettable performances sincerely deserves an Academy award or Oscars......esp the last episode aka season finale....!

Chai! This is one of the best telenovelas.
I agree with you totally. I didn't watch it from the beginning cos at first I was like ' Wetin be all this' but Rodrigo's acting and that of Carlos was top notch. I didn't understand the crush some people had for Rodrigo too but I totally get it now.
I loooooove the guy. Lol.
He reminds of a big cat. Coiled tight and ready to spring, full of barely controlled energy and passion.

He made you believe in Rodrigo, he made you root for him even though we have watched him do evil in the past. But his acting is so top notch that you invest in the character.
That is an amazing actor. I will be sure to follow his career. In fact I Go add him on Instagram sef make I just dey stalk him.lol.
Unforgettable performances indeed.
Not forgetting the director and all the other cast who made this happen.

Even the "singers" of the song. Funny song and dance steps. But catchy. I dey try sing am but I no gree know the wordings. Lol.

I was determined not to cry. In Fact I googled his real name to remind myself that he was alive and kicking so no need to cry.
E no work mehn.
I prepared by steeling myself not to cry when I watched the ending part (when Eric died, I realized this peeps weren't playing so I went to caray caray and read the ending and I knew that it was going to be emotional)
But my gosh! The prison scene when Gracie came to see him, I didn't know when tears came on.
I felt sad. The ending was rushed sha. But it was good like that sef. If they had prolonged it it would have been harder to watch.

Different strokes for different folks. I agree wit some of favouredgal's assessment but of course some that she loves I did not.

For me Someone's watching gets a solid 99%. I love love love that telenovela. Or maybe it's Rafael Amaya that I love. Lol.But that was the telenovela that got me hooked on telemundo.
And it's the only telenovela that I am rewatching again with excitement.

I love forbidden passion and For love and justice too. I and my sister rarely missed an episode. So let's say 95% for both.

Let's see, Elena's ghost was one I loved too. And if they had shown the repeat in daylight instead if midnight I would gladly have re watched too. Same 95%.

I haven't watched precious rose and behind closed doors.

Enjoyed it but wasn't top notch . Christian Bach was good tho, but was so annoying that everyone except the actual impostor uncovered all the secrets in usual telemundo fashion

Carlos ponce carried this on his back. Gaby espino and Aaron Diaz were unbelievably bad. Interesting but silly and unnecessary plot lines.

Very extreme story line, doubt what commander ponce did to what's her name? Could be forgiven on real life.... Also the story just did not resonate well with me

Was ok.., cliche, annoying but was ok to watch

Too long, unrealistic plot lines, silly twists but was interesting and compelling. Loved the essemble cast - was solid

Mr Arturo seems to only look non plastic when he's kissing anyone. Honestly I think that's the only reason he's chosen as lead.
Even his cowboy hat is plastic abi which kain hat prop dem give him.

He wasn't bad in Broken angel.
And in FLAJ, he played the role of suave congress man to perfection.
I think some roles bring out the better side of an actor than others.

See Ximena Duque ( Samantha FH) can be bland at times, chai, her face when Jes matomora or whatever disclosed his identity to her in towards the end of FH no try at all,she couldn't even fake any reaction, just dey look, also her face when that her boss told her that the boy was her son (FH) but when you watch her in Someone's watching, even Broken Angel, she was able to play the part of scheming sister and annoying daughter to perfection. I wanted to slap her in that Broken Angel, so annoying.

Look at that that Imposter woman, the main female character, can't remember her name, she wasn't as bland in Aurora, but in the Imposter, her acting was worse, If you read caray caray, you will laugh so much at the jabs they threw at her. Oyibo sef can be mean oh.

Even if an actor isn't great, some roles and the script also matters.
