To adequately provide answers to the technical questions, we need to understand the sort of location and age of the countries. Nigeria is a relatively young country compared to the United States and China.
Still at that, the 3 countries have more than 3 things as an advantage. Also China and the United States are already world powers and dominating the world.

What similar factors does United States and China have in common that can also be found as a factor in Nigeria?
1. Willingness to Experiment : a country or people can only dominate when they have a willingness to experiment. Technological advance and even Political setup always start up as an experiment.
Both China and US experiment alot.

If you are observant, Nigerians have a very high thought in the willingness to experiment. In some quarters, it's assumed that Nigeria is a British experiment. Well, Nigeria is over 60 years old and making progress without breaking up. So it's good to say we are still excelling.
If you don't try, you won't get a different result.

2. Huge youth population : The United States of America and people's Republic of China have a huge youthful population. This helps them in both huge Militaries and Large industrial production.
You need numbers or population as people call it to assert dominance.

3. China, US and Nigeria are hard working countries : China and US are a "workahloic society" in other to make it big, you have to work and not lazy around. Nigerians are also work hard and even travel beyond their own boarders to learn, work and earn. Despite the issues of unemployment, Nigerians, most especially the youth stag up all night learning "tech" on several free source

4 Natural resources: Landmass and climate factors can be classified as part of natural resources even apart from oil. The 3 countries have natural resources which attracts attract tourism.
On the part of oil, China and United States have been able to manage their oil products by themselves and invested it in their economy. Nigeria too now has a Refinery and is producing more for export. Progress is always a gradual thing.

Nigeria has also gone through civil war.
All these countries are still united despite the phase of war. This wars proves National Unity is possible

Perhaps this is why these countries are leaders on their continents.
Another thing these countries have in common is they are leaders on their continent and they maintain peace in other countries

The area, Nigeria is lacking behind is in the "Willingness to experiment".. We need to experiment with our system of leadership and political system/structure.
In the educational system, we need to experiment and see if we can change from old ways of learning and be in tune with global practices.

To achieve dominance, it's important to invest and fund experiment in both scientific research and other sectors. The more a society experiments, the more it's chances of achieving values. That's How dominance is attained.
People are quick to call China makers of "copy-goods". On the contrary, China experiments alot. It's the part of those experiments that are sold out till they are able to understand how the actual product is being manufactured.

I believe if Nigeria develops the willingness to experiment more, Nigeria can attain dominance.

Earlier in the year, I saw a job advert by a London borough (a local government in London) which I know I am well qualified for but doubted getting it because that is a soft role some equally qualified British would apply to and get chosen ahead of me. So I had doubts and that made me submit my application about an hour to the deadline, just to mark register .

Months went by, I got no response and I assumed they had moved on to the next stage and didn't make the cut for interview. Then one Friday morning, I was off work from my previous job and was at home , I checked one of my email accounts and lo and behold was an email sent 2 days earlier and was from the head of the team from the London borough I wanted to join. He apologized for the delayed response over the months and asked if I am still interested to interview for the role or I have moved on.

I instantly replied I was still interested and got a reply that my interview was scheduled for 2 weeks ahead. I put in all my best in preparation for the interview because it was a do or die for me as it was an opportunity to be a government worker in London .

My interview was scheduled for 10.30a.m but I was already at the London bridge by 8.40a.m after about 2 and half hour journey and the borough's office was just about 8 minutes walk from London bridge that was already milling with tourists taking pictures. I walked to the Iconic Tower bridge which was 4 minutes walk from the office and sat there overlooking the River Thames, to pray, meditate and mentally psyche myself for the interview.

It was a 3 part interview, the first was a 30 minutes written test, after Iwhich I was ushered in to face a 3 person management panel and that lasted 45mins (dem really drilled me) and the last stage was the youth panel which was also 45mins as the role I applied for, involved working with children and young persons in the borough and those young persons in the panel represented the views of the young people.

I got down from the fourth floor to the ground floor of the borough's building and sat to relax myself as I felt like one who just came out from a war zone as the interview wasn't easy at all. Hanged around in London till 5p.m before leaving the city.

I started another round of fasting and Novena prayers. A week later, I was inside in the bus and got a call from a number and it was my present team manager, he informed me I have been selected for the role.....I screameeeeeed!😂😂😃

It took another 3 months to onboard me, the team manager had to check out my references, callied to talk my undergraduate HOD to know who I was during my time in that university, called my reference from my postgraduate study, called my lead at the psychiatric facility I worked in another country, called my lead therapist where I worked then the 2 other related places I have worked in, in the UK.

Filled the forms for my medicals, local government pension, bank details, HMRC, the business unit of the borough confirmed the borough would offer me ertificate of sponsorship to switch my skilled worker visa from my previous employer, physical verification of my academic qualifications, given a contract to sign and finally issued a new COS

Switched my visa under 24hrs, given a start date and London house hunting began...got one and relocated.

Showed up on the start day to meet my other team members, got my work ID and devices, looking out from the borough's office building from the uppermost floor seeing tourists snapping pictures along the banks of River Thames, capturing the iconic Tower bridge behind them.....I know Eze Ebube has brought me this far.
