The Nigerian's Federal Ministry of Education (FME) has initiated a vocational education and training programme called "Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)". This programme is aimed at equipping young Nigerians with practical, industry-relevant technical and vocational skills for employment or entrepreneurship.

The amazing part of the programme is that the government will be paying N45,000 monthly allowance as stipend and upkeep while you're doing the training. The training programme is categorized into two parts: a 6-month Short-Term Certificate (STC) for those with little or no formal education and a 1-year Vocational Education and Innovation (VEI) program for those with some educational background.
